Mike is an "ole school mechanic" he has worked on our cars and serviced our cars for 7years. He has reasonable prices and reliable! We have called him last minute for servicing our cars and he has worked us in or got us in promptly that week. If you are needing your car worked on or serviced he is your guy!!!!! You won't be disappointed.

They put in a transmission that was no good. I paid for it with my credit card they were to refund the 1800.00 that I paid for and never got my money back. I call they do not give any info and the people that own it never give a call back. They can not even tell you the name of the owners. Or someone to talk toService: Transmission

I can't speak to the quality of work done by this shop we never actually got a repair done, but I can speak to the quality of the people here. The owner and his employees were all very polite and helpful the whole time that we dealt with them. We had a one time transmission issue with our car which has not happened again, and took it in to have it looked at. We were told up front that there would be no charge just to look over the car and try to find the issue, only if they actually had to do work on it, and we would be informed of a cost estimate before they started if that happened. They looked it over and could not get the problem to happen again and told us that it is possibly just a one time glitch and not to worry about it if it didn't happen again as it would be an expensive problem to fix if it does come back.

Not Dependable ... They had my Car for 6 weeks and 4 day paid up front and never completed the Job lie after lie after lie they have ruined Mr. Mike Clausedales Name the Previous Owner ... Me Personally I would not recommend No one to do Business there with them at all !!! If that's the type of service and Buisness they conducted in Georgia no wonder why they left or got chased out of the State ... Well they will certainly won't be here in Oak Ridge long at All that's surely not the way we do BUSINESS here in TENNESSEE !!!

I can't say enough great things about Mike and his crew. He is honest and extremely fair. Dropped my car off on a Sunday leaving the keys in the drop box. I knew the clutch was slipping, but Mike called me before lunch the next day Monday and gave me the news that transmission was bad. I kinda figured that but didn't want to admit it to myself lol.. Anyway, to make a long story short, he had a new transmission and clutch installed by Wednesday before lunch. The car runs awesome. No issues. You will NOT go wrong there at Accountable Transmission. I'd give more stars if I could.

This is by far the best transmission shop around. VW Routan transmission exchanged and ready to go in 2 day's. Hard to believe but it's true. Mike is very fair on price. I will definitely use this shop in the future!! Not only will you be pleased with the service but you'll feel like you've made a friend!!

On today, I went to them to get some codes looked at. Issue started after I had a STARTER put on my vehicle, then that's when the transmission light came on after CARFIX had my vehicle for a starter issue. I went to see what the codes were and found out CARFIX left wires, screws, transmission cables, battery bolts and other off of my vehicle and this company came after them and fixed it. I highly recommend this company. A great set of people to have fix your vehicle. Thank you all again for making sure my vehicle was up and running the right way. I would definitely be back for future work done on my vehicles.

Very honest, dependable, and well priced. Being honest in this line of business gets you far, and Mike is as honest and helpful as they came. Wouldn't trust my vehicles with anyone else. Highly recommend!

Mike the owner is very personable, and seems sincerely dedicated to treating people well and doing the right thing. We won't go anywhere else, because we trust them. And that is probably the best thing that can be said about any business.
