Mr. Kleen and his staff are cooperative and knowledgeable. I am filing my taxes thru them from last 3 years. Quick and efficient work. As preparation and filing when your taxes done staff called you and give your complete paper work for your record. Fee was $200 last year.

Went to Gerald for 2016, 2017, and 2018. Half way through 2018 I got a letter in the mail talking about incorrect filing for 2016. Over the next 6 months and multiple appointments I never did get a comprehensive explanation from him about why the IRS wanted $1500. He said he sent in multiple letters, none of which I ever got a copy of. I only had it resolved after the deductions were applied to my 2018 return, when the $1500+$300 in late fees were subtracted automatically. After that, he said he could send in a letter requesting somebody to review the issue, and challenge the deductions since his explanation was always along the lines of " a machine automatically generated the bill, a person hasn't physically looked it over." Never got a response beyond the front desk when I emailed various times the ladies were always friendly and helpful; I don't plan on coming back and I don't recommend this CPA.
This is one of the worst CPAs I have ever encountered. This man has had my taxes for almost 3 months now. After calling numerous times I am informed that the man just now opened the my envolope of information Almost 3 months later. He informs his secretary that there is not enough information to perform his job. That would have been nice to know 3 months ago! Now when trying to go into the office and take my tax information back so that I can actually get them filed he doesn't have my paperwork in his office. He tells me my information is at his house. This has been the worst experience with any CPA I have ever had and I would never recommend this man. UPDATE: Today I was supposed to be able to receive my paperwork I sent in and the man still doesn't have them. Upon contacting his office I am informed that he will call me when he decides to actually take them back to the office. We'll he hasn't called me in almost 3 months of having my information and after I've called repeatedly on a status update. So this just continues his track record of terrible service and frustration on my part.

Gerald Killeen CPA is located at 1240 SOUTH China Lake Blvd. NOT NORTH. A few hundred yards, past Walmart and Albertsons, same side of highway. The currently displayed map and address are incorrect.
No response and I've been waiting 5 months for my taxes to be prepared as well as a year and a half for my amended taxes to be completed. Can anyone say class action lawsuit?
Professional, old school style. 200 bucks is cheaper than turbotax plus.
