Dr. Shawn Kim graduated with honor from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where he earned his D.D.S (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree. Then he attended San Francisco VA Medical Center for his general practice residency.
Dr. Shawn Kim specializes in cosmetic dentistry and implant dentistry. Dr. Shawn Kim has numerous experiences of bringing back smiles for patients with complex problems. Full mouth rehabilitation with multiple dental implants and prosthesis is one of Dr. Shawn Kim’s specialties. Dr. Shawn Kim is also a certified Invisalign provider.

Overall, I was so impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the pleasant, stress-free environment.  My hygienist made me feel comfortable before and during my teeth cleaning experience. She was friendly, and she took the time to answer my questions and concerns in a positive and professional manner. She also explained each step during the cleaning process. I am happy to say she did an excellent job of cleaning my teeth. My teeth looks great, and I feel great!. Thanks Erin! The doctor that did my after cleaning evaluation further made me feel I had found the right dental service for my dental care.

After not going to the dentist for 3 years due to pandemic and having babies, I’m so glad I chose Ace Dental for my first cleaning. Amazing and friendly service from the moment I called and talked to Lindsey and Joanne at the front desk to the moment I checked out after my cleaning. The front desk is not only very friendly but so helpful in figuring out prices, and dealing with insurances so you don’t have to.  Ali not only gave me the best cleaning  ever, she was also so friendly, detail oriented and knowledgeable in everything she was doing. Dr. Park was so friendly, efficient and knowledgeable as well. Will not only keep going back for my own dental needs but will also be making future appointments for my entire family. Would definitely recommend Ace Dental to any of my family and friends.

Recently moved back to the Boston area and had to find a new dentist , was referred to Ace Dental in Hyde Park, have been a couple times so far and am extremely happy. The office is beautiful, the reception staff very friendly and efficient, the dental technicians well-trained and highly qualified, and the doctors very personable and professional. In addition, they seem to have all the latest technology, things I had never seen at my old dentist. Highly recommended.

This place is amazing. From start to finish. The receptionist Lyndsey is hands down the best. She is thorough, kind, and friendly. She spends time explaining things to you. She even goes the extra mile of ensuring you understand everything. Erin was also amazing. I am so happy I found this place. They don’t have good customer service, they have EXCELLENT customer service!! This will be my forever dentist office.

Front desk staff made you feel welcomed and they were presentable. I like that they remember patients name and always asking how was your experience before leaving. The doctors and assistants were great they paid great attention to the problems you have and worked really hard to fix what ever problem you have. Made you feel comfortable and let you know what they were doing. Also, I enjoy that they play music and I’m able to pick what I want to listen to which helps if you don’t like to hear the drilling in your mouth. Make a great distraction.

Saw Alana today for my semi annual cleaning. She was very pleasant and efficient. She did a great job and was extremely communicative during the process. It seemed obvious to me that she enjoys her work. Ace Dental is a wonderful palace for dental care!

I was anxiously seeking a dentist and was recommended to Ace Dental by a Facebook group. I was totally impressed by the cleanliness of the office, the front desk staff member Lindsey, who handled herself in a professional manner, the hygienist who took her time to do my cleaning and answered numerous questions to Dr. Kim who came in to greet me. I am so happy to have found a gem in my community and strongly recommend them.

The hygienist was good and the dentist was very funny. The place was clean. I made an appointment at 3.45, get there at 3.45 and was in right away. When they suggested I need deep cleaning, they calculated my co-pay and made sure I am ok with it before they scheduled me. They even gave me a welcome gift for coming today for the first time. Wonderful clinic.

I recently started going to Ace Dental at the recommendation of a family member. She raved about her experience and after three appointments of my own…I can too! Everyone I encountered was pleasant, from the front desk staff, to my technician, Erin my experience was top knotch. I received a thorough and comprehensive treatment plan. All of these factors confirm I made the right choice by going to Ace Dental.

Absolutely best dentist in town. I usually do not like visiting the dentist office but the staff made it a wonderful experience. Ligita was very gentle during my cleaning and gave me clear and helpful advice on how to improve my dental management. Dr. Park was very kind and clear about what my current situation was and the plan moving forward. He also took into consideration and prioritized what was important to me in the plan. I look forward to going again!
