I was slightly overwhelmed today by the shear number of sealer primers that were available to start my painting project. I was greeted and helped with friendly service and was helped in locating the correct primer for the job I was working on.

There is a cashier named Tonya.  A senior lady who is the rudest and most unhelpful worker I have ever encountered at an Ace store.  I am a loyal Ace customer and recently moved to Amarillo. I quickly needed to shop at Ace having just purchased a home.  I must give this rating in order for her to be coached on the excellent service Ace is known for.  Hopefully she is trainable by you can’t fix misery!    That said the other staff is as amazing as I am acustom to at any Ace store. Therefore my rating will increase from a 1 for her to a 4 for the benefit of the other great staff including the Gorg. Pup!!

Do not use this Company ever! We recently called for a bid on our kitchen backsplash. Employee came over was in our home for 15 min and charged us $195 for the bid. The job was for 25sq ft of space. Very small job that was already prepped and ready and we had already purchased all the materials needed for the job from Home Depot. The tile was large and all we needed was a simple brick style pattern. So not difficult at all. The guy said it would take him 4-5 days to complete the job. The manager of the store sent us a complete work up for the entire project shortly afterward. The quote for the job was $3800. To say we were completely taken advantage of is an understatement. We of course ended up going to another company. We were able to complete the job in 5hrs costing us $500! Do not let this Company take advantage of you!

I brought a few small paint chips in hoping for a paint match. The staff matched the color perfectly. I'll be back next time I need paint.

Someone's dog crapped on the floor. Staff is always too busy to help. I'll just keep going to Lowes.

Usually they have what the big stores don't, but not this time. They were helpful directing to stores that might have the item.

Ace is the place! Especially if you are handicapped and need personalized attention and customer service. Thanks everyone!

stocked up with what you need plus a little more.  reminds me of a premium home improvement store.  the friendly staff eager to point you in right direction to find what you are searching for. front door parking for convenience.
