When I showed up today at 610pm and the parking lot was empty and it was all dark inside is when you lost my business for good! I'll he going to Home Depot from now on because I know they will actually be open when I need something and will have a larger selection for less cost even though it is a further drive. Do better.
Horrible experience. Treated rudely by a lady saying I had to call a locksmith. Said they did not have anything to help with the lick. Got the part we needed at Home Depot. Going to Home Depo from now on. Ace sucks.
Very smart place. We came up from Phoenix and everyone was sold out of kids gloves and sleds. They were smart enough to purchase a bunch because the weather was going to turn. They were very nice, very knowledgeable, and in stock
Seems like ACE carries anything you might need. I checked internet and found ACE carries the brand of fridge water filter that I needed.
Everyone who works there at ACE Hardware, are exceptional, friendly, down right nice people and they really know how to help you. Each time I visit this store, I am never disappointed, unless of course, they don't have what I am looking for. Ha, like that has ever happened, ha ha. Great store, great people, great time.
I just purchased a new stove for my home. Paul was very helpful in choosing a new stove, the installation was on-time and professional and the stove not only works well, but it is really beautiful.
This place is great. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who get to know your name, your business and what you’re there for. Not only that they know where the stuff is in their store and probably have someone working there that can tell you how to use it. I am a customer for life and I do currently recommend them to a lot of people and don’t see that changing any time.
I needed $.50 of nuts and bolts for my car. An employee helped me find the right sizes. Really great customer service.
Absolutely no customer service. There wasn't anyone around or on the floor anywhere. I had questions in the paint department, but no one there to ask! No one around to even ask if there was someone to help me. I ended up doing my best in selecting some paint, brushes and sandpaper. When I got near the registers, the gal behind the counter was coughing and hacking. Thankful she had a mask on...oh, but wait, she was pulling it off, then on, rearranging it. So here she's putting her hands all over the mask she was just coughing on! And then she touches all the products I was buying and handing me the receipt. But the best part: no hi, or hello, how are you? No, its: do you have an ace reward number? After she's done with my order, there is no comments to say even ' thank you' or have a nice day! This gal needs to review the Ace hardware training tapes on customer service that she should of completed prior to starting the job!!! If I was a mystery shopper this place would of got a zero!!! The only comment or engagement I had for this first time visit was: do you have an Ace reward number!!! Shocking! Otherwise, total silence minus coughing and hacking!!! Next time I will go to Home Depot. After all there is no expectations for anyone helping you there. I mean their TV commercials don't claim they're the "place with helpful hardware help"!
Kudos to Doug for his extra help. We needed a garage door remote opener to match our other one, which mostly likely came from Amazon. I didn't want to wait for it to be delivered, so I called Ace with the model number and description. The one they found was pretty sure the correct one, but there was a hitch with the model number. I sent a photo and Doug was able to match it exactly. He went over and above by searching this out on the back of the item, not the box and giving me his cell # to text the photos to. It was correct and we were able to program and use it right away. Additionally, the store has a good selection of lots of stuff one needs and other things they didn't know they needed. Friendly, helpful people, going the extra mile, make shopping at this Ace a pleasure. The return policy is good too. What a helpful thing to know now, when returns are often a hassle. We received a gift purchased at an Ace out of state and were not sure it would work for our needs. When I called to ask if it could be returned at this Ace, someone checked the model and SKU to find it in stock, so a return would be possible, if needed.
