Ace Hardware - Shelbyville, IN

I was able to buy potting soil today to plant my garlic. They’re always so helpful when I go in the Shelbyville Ace Hardware store. I would highly recommend shopping here. They have a nice selection of paint too.

We went to Ace w/old color samples for matching paint from the house we bought 8 years ago. The previous owner had just done the family room w/an unusual color when they put the house on the mkt. It was/is a fairly dark earthy gray w/hints of green &/or blue. We've loved this color because it compliments every piece of furniture we've ever tried in it. We had removed some wallpaper from the kitchen soffit, which adjoins the family room, & needed the paint color to be a perfect match to bring the 2 rooms together. Sue Kronke is still the best! We gave her a difficult challenging color; her custom matching solution was so good that we were also able cover some "wear & tear" bumps & scratches in several small areas of the room without repainting the whole room. You now CANNOT even find them.

I love this store. My husband and daughter both work there and they love the family feeling of those they work with. It's the helpful hardware people who make it a fun place to shop.

Ace is actually the place with helpful workers, never have I gone in to the store without at least two workers asking me if I need help with anything. Now I know some may say Ace is too expensive on prices, but they are local community people and they serve the community. They carry a variety of products everything from electrical needs to plumbing to simple lightbulbs and much more in between. Go check them out.

Love going here. We were remodeling our house for about 8 months and always stopped in at Ace to get more paint supplies or tools we might have needed, I also love that Ace carries my favorite Goat Milk chapstick and lotion line! The customer service is excellent, very friendly and always has an answer for you! highly recommend these wonderful people and Ace all together

I like this store because there are so many things here to redo your home with. There is tons of tools and accessories to fix anything that is broken or needs work. There are lawn ornaments and yard tools and ladders, wagons, carts and dollies and shovels, rakes and decorations all to make the outside of your home look as good as the inside. I just really enjoy going in the store and seeing all the possibilities of revamping my house.

We love going to this local Ace in our town. They helped us with our house remodel and they are just great with customer service and will answer any questions you might have at all. Lots of paint options as well and they have my fave chap stick which is goat milk. They also sell hand creams as well from goat milk and sell all natural cleaning supplies from Method or Mrs. Meyers
