Clean spacious. Lots of produce lots of everything. Reasonable prices. Pleasant staff. Ha no fresh gnocchi. It’s such a staple in most stores. This is a fail.
GREAT place to shop ! This acme store is in dire of need of a modern update . The parking lot needs to be repaved and the exterior building needs to be illuminated better with accent warm white led lighting that highlights the buildings structure and new attractive lamp posts. its dark in that parking lot ! A cost effective remodel, I'd repaint the stores interior to a cool light celery green as the main colour and charcoal gray for the ceiling it will not show water satins, crisp white, red and silver as accent. 3 ring shaped light fixture pendants above the floral area to highlight plants and flowers. it's a little crowded in the Isles, there needs to be better flow, I don't like running into people because of no space. one more thing there is too much clutter visually with sale signs. it's too busy ! i think it should be minized to avoid confusion.. I'm a interior designer I thought I'd add my two cents.. please consider my ideas. Staff is excellent! especially Nikolas, Trevor and Josh..
I like the new Acme. The deli and bakery are great. However, there is not much variety in standard items, like peanut butter and dairy department is often empty of items. Front registers back up and I would like a self check out option.
This Acme location is closing soon. Too much competition from nearby Lidl and Shop Rite stores. Some of the groceries were an extra 30% to 50% off, but some of the original prices were already overpriced so you were left wondering how much money am I really saving here. Salad bar could have used some sprucing up because some of the items including the lettuce didn't appear fresh. Salad bar was still fullpriced at $7.99 a lb. All sales are final due to store closing.
The store was pretty empty, don't know of the new Shoprite in that area took a huge chunk of their business or not. It was what you'd expect from a grocer. Decent prices, and decent sales
I was just in the here the other day and one of the employees told me it was being closed down! i'm so upset. This is the nicest supermarket in the area. So clean and spacious. Has anyone heard? What a bummer! The Acme is Little Silver is a total dump.
This is the old A&P taken over by Acme which moved from Shrewsbury plaza to this much larger location in Tinton Falls plaza. Not much at all has changed since it was A&P except there is no longer a self-check-out and Acme keeps the bare minimum employees on register at all times.This is an ok store with a great employee! Anytime I need something from the meat room, Cathy is always happy to help.
Wish they had more plain​ bagels for their 12 for $5 deal. Also I'm not a fan as to how the store is set up. You have the bakery and specialty breads on one side of the store and the name brands on the other side of the store by the milk.
What a nightmare this place is. Horrible selection, often times there is rotten or no produce. The prices are much more than Shoprite or Wegmans and the checkout process will leave you scratching your head. You cannot get out of this place is a reasonable amount of time. An example of a place that is poorly managed.
Mediocre at best today. Help was not friendly, and I don't know who the hell trains these people how to bag groceries. I put the groceries up on the belts according to non perishables, meats, dairy, frozen, fruits and vegetables, etc. Upon being bagged, everything is mixed up, also with soft items being squashed. Then, after ringing me up, but before I could have a chance to finish putting my bags in the cart, she starts ringing up the next customer shoving their groceries down into mine. Do you hire just anyone who has a pulse?? Very unpleasant visit, and am looking forward to when the Shop Rite is built.
