Terrible Customer Service and Rude Behavior I recently had the unfortunate experience of interacting with the deli team at Acme, and I must say it was nothing short of a disappointment. The level of rudeness and lackluster customer service displayed by this team was truly astonishing, leaving me with an unfavorable impression that I feel compelled to share. From the moment I approached the deli counter, it was clear that the team members had no interest in providing any sort of quality service. Their demeanor was consistently unfriendly, as if they were inconvenienced by my presence. Instead of greeting me with a smile or a warm welcome, they responded with indifference, and in some cases, outright rudeness. As I proceeded to place my order, I found the deli team's attitude to be utterly unprofessional. They showed little patience or willingness to assist me in making my selection, seemingly annoyed by my questions about the available options. It was as if they were doing me a favor by serving me, rather than recognizing that they were there to cater to customers' needs. Moreover, the team's communication skills were severely lacking. They appeared disinterested in providing any sort of guidance or recommendations, leaving me to navigate the menu on my own. When I requested specific modifications to my order, they responded dismissively, as if my requests were an inconvenience. The lack of attention to detail was evident, as they frequently made mistakes with the orders and showed no remorse for their errors. The wait time at the deli counter was also unacceptably long, despite there being only a few customers ahead of me. The team members seemed more interested in socializing among themselves than in efficiently serving the customers. It was clear that their priority was anything but providing a satisfactory customer experience. In conclusion, my encounter with the deli team at Acme was a profoundly negative one. Their lack of professionalism, rudeness, and overall disinterest in delivering quality customer service were truly disappointing. I would strongly advise against patronizing this deli until they address their customer service issues and take the necessary steps to improve the overall experience for their customers.
The employees are so helpful. Chris at the service desk helpful and courteous. David and Beth in deli always pleasant and listen to my needs. Store is always clean
Learned from starbucks is the manager of the store who makes the rules.....Well Starbucks closes at 7PM went at 6:30PM no one was there NO SIGN, NOTHING! Then customer service says they close BETWEEN 6-7pm! If you can't have set hours or at least a sign what they heck kind of business/store are you running! Calling ACME cooperate to report this! Doesn't take a lot to type or write a sign......Poorly run!
Nice clean store, pretty good selection, but pricey . Staff are helpful and polite.
Was able to quickly find the items I needed. Self checkout line was short and easy to use.
Very nice store. Always clean. A little more costly than Shop Rite.
If you're going to force us to self-checkout, maybe make sure all your equipemt is working properly...we don't work there.
Seems expensive but inflation is real. Plenty of self checkouts and never really waited long even when crowded. They have everything you would need.
Great place for food shopping and employees are very helpful and nice
This is my emergency stop when I don't want to drive to shoprite. I don't understand why it smells like fish/seafood at times. Can't they open the back doors when they get seafood delivery?! Or when need to clean the seafood?! I have to admit, the deli is always fresh, and the Italian bread is a hit.
