Honestly, I hate having to see a doctor. But I was able to schedule an appt that was 30 minutes after I first called, and when I got there they took care of me within another 30 minutes. They took care of my problem and they did it kindly, and quickly. They don't accept Cen-Cal, which means self-paying for me, but it was affordable. I'm grateful.
I would have given 0 stars if possible. So many complaints I hardly know where to start. -Check in with lady on screen who we could not hear. volume issue I guess. -Nurse was new and had many difficulty with her iPad. All the info I typed in at check in had to be typed in several times more because it got lost. Her iPad difficulties distracted the nurse greatly and prevented her from giving good care and everything took very long. She had to call on phone for assistance with iPad many times during our visit. Then the battery of the O2 sat monitor died while it was on my finger and no new batteries available. Not a big deal in our situation but of course not professional. -The door to the treatment room has a sizable opening along the lower half and when you sit in the waiting room right outside the treatment room you can hear exactly what is being said in the treatment room. So much for privacy. -It took more than an hour to get vitals and then I had to wait in waiting room for virtual PA. While waiting I looked at the check in screen and was able to see a patient at another location and hear what he was coming in for infected thumb. Again a privacy issue in my opinion. -It took a very long time before the PA was available but I was happy with her care. Professional and friendly and knew what she was doing. No complaints regarding the PA. -The treatment room does not have a table in it and the PA stated she needed to have my abdomen palpated for pain while lying down not in sitting in order to make an important decision regarding my care and she seemed surprised there was no treatment table in the room. A table seems like a basic part of a treatment room. -Then the nurse had to draw my blood. She did a good job drawing the blood but she did not have the green “blood collection vials” needed for the blood draw and had to use other vials. Not the nurse’s fault if it is her first day on this job. A badly supplied urgent care place. -The whole experience took 3.5 hours. But my biggest issue is this: 3 days after this visit I followed up with my PCP and wanted the blood results. I called the Urgent care place and was first told they would fax the results as soon as they received them. They had all the consent forms etc Later that day I was called back and told to set up a patient account with Lab Corp Lab that they use and that I can get access to my blood test results that way. The issue is that Lab Corp delays putting your results on your patient account 2 to more days until after The MD who ordered the labs has been notified. It can apparently be delayed up to 2 weeks. If you/your MD needs the Lab results asap you don’t have access to them for up to 2 weeks! This is not acceptable. And another thing: this urgent care place will send you an email a few days after you go there, whether you would recommend their place to other people. If you tap the “yes” option you get a chance to rate their services and write a review that you can read here. But if you tap “no” you get linked to a space you can write your complaints down but you cannot leave a review or rate their services. That way the people who are not happy have to go a few extra steps to leave a negative review and it is more likely mostly good reviews will be left. How cheesy.
I made an appointment for 1:00pm on Jan 2, 2018. When I got their the door was standing open. Signed in and expected to be called back. At 1:30 still no one came. I found out they had not come back from lunch yet. I called and the call went to a central office, they verified my apt time and said they should be there and would get in touch with someone. Then she said a nurse would be there soon. That was a no show. I didn’t need a nurse, I needed a Dr. Anyway at 2:00pm I left. I would NOT recommend this place.
I needed to see someone ASAP because of a very painful earache. The intake took very little time and I was seen by a P.A. about 20 minutes later. I was very pleased with how my condition was handled, the competence of the staff. I would certainly return to this clinic if I had a medical condition in need of a quick resolution.
I went to urgent care because of a sprained ankle. It was quite swollen, and I was worried that I had fractured it. I only had to wait a short time before I was seen. The doctor recommended an X-ray and found that it was not broken. The staff was courteous and helpful. In an emergency, I would recommend urgent care.
We were in from out of town. I scheduled an appointment online during the middle of the night last night as my son had a high fever and suspected strep throat. We showed up 10 minutes before our appointment. The door was ajar but the pharmacy folks told us to go ahead and have a seat inside. It didn’t appear anyone was in the office. We waited until 9 am when a clerk from the pharmacy came to tell us that the people who run the clinic had just called and they weren’t coming in today. What a joke!
Great nurses and doctors are exceptional. Friendly service, was in and out within the hour with a proper diagnosis and I was able to pick up my prescription not 30 feet away from the clinic within 15 mins.
First...they had only been open 3 days..so I guess i have to give them that. I did not care for the video conference with the Medical Professional. Room you are in the waiting room can hear your conversation...I know the gal ahead of me has IBS.... Too long of a wait Too long of a medical history No lab services set up? Why open up? After 12 hours urine was no good. No call to at least let me know what was going on. Hell day of I would have driven it to the lab. Definitely will not be back.....ever
I was extremely sick and made appointment for Sunday to figure out what I had. It was the only place open on sundays. I show up on time and nobody was there. Called the number and they said their nurse technician. Was sick. Nobody called me, nobody notified me. Extremely unhappy for service and will never go back or reccomend a place that is as flakey as this.
First of all, it is the only clinic in my area that is open on Sunday. The wait time was short. Although it was a video conference with the Doctor, the face to face at the clinic with the nurse on duty was excellent.
