Acupuncture and Asian Medicine Clinic believes that each woman’s fertility journey is unique. Though they may have a similar ultimate goal we look at each woman as a whole. There are many different routes to a pregnancy and every woman has different life circumstances that also impact this journey. Some women choice to use western medical approaches such as medications, IUI’s, and IVF, while incorporating acupuncture into to this process and some women use acupuncture and herbs solely. At Acupuncture and Asian Medicine Clinic we approach each situation individually and without judgment. Lindsey believes that she is an advocate for her patients and is there to support them in their own fertility goals and what feels right for them.
For many couples that are trying to become pregnant it can be a difficult time period that affects many aspects of their lives. Lindsey listens to each way that patients are impacted in this process including, emotional highs and lows, relationship stress, having to take time off of work, multiple appointments, financial stress, and side effects of medications. She incorporates these aspects in to her treatment plans and each visit. She works with patients to find ways to stay connected to themselves, their families and friends, and find a balance in other areas of their lives.

There are currently over 40 conditions that can be treated with acupuncture according to the World Health Organization. How many treatments do I need?
Typically after 3-6 treatments people experience a lessening of their symptoms. For some there is immediate relief and others require more treatments. Duration of treatment depends upon the condition and how the individual’s body responds to the treatment.
Lindsey Goldammer is certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, (NCCAOM), and licensed by the Iowa Medical Board. She holds a Master’s degree in the Science of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from AAAOM in Roseville, MN. Throughout her time there she did a two year internship working under doctors from China. She also traveled to China and observed acupuncture and herbal treatments in the integrated hospitals of Kunming and HongZhou. Lindsey has seen firsthand how the two modalities of medicine can work together. She came to know the healing nature of acupuncture through a personal experience as a patient, and desires to share that healing with others and assist in maintaining health.
