If I could leave a no star review- I would. This organization allowed two teams to swap their best players- letting the other two teams lose every single match. Once we brought it up to them- they said they would put and end to it- but it continued to happen. On top of that- there were absolutely NO repercussions. Why bother spending $250 for your kid to leave in tears every game? Unbelievable.
Worst experience ever we had at the tournament. The restrooms are dirty. And the refs are racist and unprofessional. Nothing like winning a game fair and square, not by having favoritism.
My son since graduated out and daughter have played at this club and location for about 10 years. My daughter has been with the same coach for about 9 years and wouldn't have it any other way. The coaches and staff have been great and they are always looking to make things better. The fields are great too!
My son just played in the Surf Cup tournament. The team could not be more disappointed. Our coach repeatedly asked 6 different times to be move down to the bronze division and Surf refused. Our boys were completely out classed and crushed in every game. They are completely demoralized and our team collectively spent ~$10,000 to attend between entry fees, travel, food and hotels. Not to mention the games were running well behind schedule all day Saturday. We won’t be returning, and out team will be asking for their money back.
We have been with them for 2-3 years and things have only gotten better. It was a little rocky every time they switched management, but Coach Summer is awesome and has it together. We love it here and my child has improved in his skills. I only wish they didn’t do participation trophies? but my child’s age group is not competitive play. Update: things have changed since they became surf soccer. $1200 for the year plus $200+ registration fee is crazy high. We used to pay a little over $200 for the season. My child basically lost all of the skills he had gained. Coach was terrible and didn't add any value to the players and their skills. He couldn't even be bothered to get to know the players. There was one kid who was having a rough time due to his background and instead of coaching this kid the coach just told him and his mother to go somewhere else. We lost several good players during the season and can't even blame them. We wont be coming back next season.
Where is the rest of my families refund. When you cancelled Summer Camps you had us submit our information. You are not allowed to keep our money under the guise of a "processing fee". You did not provide services nor offer an alternative. This is called theft. Please refund all parents camp fees.
My 6yr old granddaughter plays soccer. It is a great place. Easy to get to and seems well run. Her coach is really good with the kids. every kind and positive. The fields are well maintained.
Great club, exceptional people and staff. Looking forward to their community involvement events coming up soon. BBQ Competition and other family centered events and of course Soccer, Football and Frisbee Football.
Good fields, easy to locate, and they host teams of different ages and skill levels
I am very disappointed in this league. I took a chance on this league and due to the pandemic I understand that everything shut down. My daughter only had 2 soccer practices and the registration fee was over $200. To make up for the pandemic shut down they did schedule some summer soccer camps. They said there is a $200 registration fee but since the kids missed out last season they will waive it. My daughter cannot attend these camps due to she is spending the summer with her father in Maryland if not then she would attend this camp. I received an email back advising due to the pandemic the league took a financial hit and they will not be giving out refunds. I am a single mom who’s daughter wanted to play soccer and I heard about this league so I took a chance a financial one at that and do not see how fair it is to suggest of waiving the fee but not reimburse me since she cannot go. That is bad business and this is the absolute last time I will ever have my daughter play with this league and will warn people about the bad business this league conducts.
