The Ada Historical Society operates the Averill Historical Museum of Ada. The museum is temporarily closed due to construction. Regular Friday & Saturday 1-4:00 hours will resume in late 2018.
Other on-going projects of the society include: collecting oral histories, which have all been transcribed from older residents of Ada Township, a large photo collection which is on display and a collection of genealogy and family tree, both of which were acquired from the residents. The Ada Historical Society participates in the Tri-Rivers Historical Museum Network.
The Averill Historical Museum of Ada contains a gift shop where people can purchase a number of items including: a woven afghan that depicts several older buildings in Ada, apparel, mugs, candles, books and stationary.
