Our mission is to cultivate an arts-rich community.
Our Arts in Education programming has brought musicians, graphic artists, a videographer, a Flamenco dancer and a dulcimer maker into our schools. The annual Recyclable Art contest and the Adams County Traveling Children’s Theater Troupe are specifically designed for children.
Gettysburg’s Rec. Park Amphitheater has a one-of-a-kind ceramic tile mural backdrop, designed by artist Lynette King with a host of area senior center members, and offered to Adams County as a lasting legacy
The STAR Grant – Supporting The Arts Regionally – provides financial support to arts organizations in the county such as the Brass Band Festival, Music, Gettysburg! and its Class Notes series, Sunday in the Park concerts, the Heritage Festival, and more.
