The Adams County Historical Society is an archival research library officially recognized as the repository for Adams County records. These county materials include selected birth, marriage, and death records, estate papers, tax books, and deeds. In addition to county documents, the archives contain record and manuscript collections for local businesses, clubs and organizations, families, and Battle of Gettysburg-related materials like civilian accounts and damage claims.
