Adams State University offers a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing as well as a RN to BSN completion online program.
Our nursing program is accredited through the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) since 2006. CCNE ensures the quality and integrity of nursing programs across the nation. Our curriculum is based on the 2008 Essentials of Baccalaureate Education for Professional Nursing Practice published by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing and we are governed by the
Colorado State Board of Nursing regulations. The emphasis of our program is on professional nursing standards, evidence-based practice, cultural diversity, community service, and rural healthcare.
The Nursing Department shares the mission of Adams State. In addition, the mission of the Nursing Department is to prepare individuals for successful integration into the profession of nursing by providing students of nursing with an excellent theory-lead, evidence-based educational program with a focus on professional nursing standards, cultural diversity, community service, and rural healthcare.
