This place is probably empty because they have an ATM scam and are cash only. My bank did manage to get the money back at least temporarily now I guess and reverse charges though it takes a few weeks. Basically they charge you double which you withdraw and probably very difficult if you don’t have receipts though I did. Other than that it’s a clean and nice bar probably great for events though DO NOT use ATM.
your quintessential dive bar, including cash only ATM inside. bartenders have always been friendly and if you treat them nicely they might give you some free pool games. atmosphere can be hit or miss depending on the patrons. best selling point: the lowkey energy. an ideal spot for cheap drinks and casual pool
The ambiance of this bar is certainly dive but the drinks and attitude are well below that. They only take cash but are happy to tell you that only after they make your drinks, which are terrible by the way, then point you to the ATM so you can take out cash at a fee so they can make more money on your transaction at the ATM. That fact is not clear when walking in. The drinks, even a double tasted watered down. The bar tender was not personable at all and made us feel awful for ordering drinks and trying to pay with a card. I have had better drinks on a cheap flight compared to these. I even ordered top shelf and was left astonished by how bad the quality and service was. I love dive bars but I can't say that this is even that. It was bad. In have never wanted to leave a bar so bad. I actually did leave and didn't look back. The music was also awful, the seating the same. After seating ourselves at an uncleaned table for 20 minutes with a random half drank warm beer some random women showed up to claim it and acted like we were in her way and claimed it as if we had maliciously taken her seat. They also had a cheap 10$ Target table foosball game on the table to play with instead of oh say... a real foosball table! Bad music, really bad drinks, no credit cards, lazy bartender and nothing good to say. This is a cheap townie bar and they really don't care about being a fun place to hang out. I love dive bars but this place is just sad. The drinks tasted like water and I ordered a double. Honestly I have been to cheap bars in almost all 50 states and this is the least memorable. It was almost like they wanted to annoy people with bad music and prevent them from catching a buzz by serving watered down drinks and by making sure they made even more money by pointing you to the ATM instead of taking your card. I would say this place is for locals that can't get into a local dive bar.
Although it was early I still like coming here
Staff is great and friendly, drinks are well priced and well poured. I have been here only on a handful of nights, all busy, and never had a difficulty getting a drink quickly.
Good local dive bar, cab be hit or miss but still a good stop for a drink
The bartending at some points can be okay they use a specialized machine to pour your drinks instead of pouring free hand I understand that bars need to make a profit but they should at least allow their waitresses to pour the drinks free hand and above and above all that the smell of the place makes it smell like a bad middle school locker room
Free juke box night. They shut it off if they dont like your song or change the language. Probably why the pool tables and bar are empty here but full at Mulligans.
This bar is a local landmark. Set in the center of town it is one of the oldest continuously operated bars in Biddeford.
Awful experience here last night. Should probably do something about their rude and super unprofessional bartender. Think his names Aaron. I won't go here anymore that's for sure
