The best library ever! The librarians are nice, and if you’re a student that comes often they remember you and your name. Good place to study. To the reviews saying “Theres too many teens” “The teens are annoying” it’s right next to a middle school what do you expect? This library has so many nice people and the best place to make friends. The books are good. I like how theres an area for the kids that come here after school to hang out at. During week days they serve snacks and they are usually good. Overall this library is the best and I recommend going here if you’re not a grumpy old person!
A wonderful library with friendly, amazing, and helpful staff! After having difficulties completing my college assignments while on military orders and having asked multiple libraries who were not able to assist in providing a study room, I was blessed to have had the opportunity to complete my assignments at the Addison Public Library! Tina was compassionate and mentored me to make sure I succeed in my class and assignments ! Staff members like Tina is what makes the library a safe place to grow academically no matter what age you are ! May God bless Tina who at that moment was my angel sent from heaven, and May God bless the Addison Public Library!
It was much nicer and more modern than I expected. Brought my two year old nephew and it was a great place to have him enjoy the toy area and play for a bit. I was surprised they offered so much for the little ones to have fun with!

Is always clean . The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Very friendly .
Nice modern library. Plenty of tables with usb outlets so you can use your laptop. 20+ computer workstations. 10 study rooms.Wide selection of books. Even better than newly renovated Villa Park Library. Except after 2:45 PM. That's when middle school across the street let's out. Then, like a plague of locusts, the not so little animals arrive and ... Well, let's just say chaos ensues. Very entertaining at times.
The staff at Addison Public Library are the most helpful professionals I have ever met! They are knowledgeable and willing to help with a wonderful attitude.
This is a three language library: English Polish and Spanish! They have really awesome reading programs for the kids that come with a free book to keep and last time the prize was a free slice of chocolate cake from Portillo's. They have packets of crafts for the kids and lots of activity totes to check out. And a nice playing area for the children! Plus all the usual library things
The library is a valuable commodity in the community. I don't have a computer at home and this is the only practical place I can use to do things I can't on my phone. Thank you Addison Public Library. The library still continues to be the place to get things done wether reading or using valuable equipment. An added plus the whole area is quite festive with holiday decorations. Maggie one of the librarians really helped me out with above and beyond skills. Great job Maggie!!!
