Have visited here for years. There is a small and large dog fenced in play field areas. I'm sad to report the situation has changed and my family and I no longer feel safe there, especially after sunset. So I decided to take my dog there alone before dusk and was approached by a stranger who asked that I use my cell phone to ring a family member. I politely explained that I would not since in this day and age good Samaritans are exploited and victims of scams. I was relieved he walked away without a word. Being approached with various stories has become the new normal, and I've decided to stop visiting here.
Nice and quiet. They also have a senior center, a skate park, and 2 playgrounds for the little ones. Another level for women is a great program that distributes food on fridays. Great place for our community
This is fir the skatepark. It's a chill spot. It had a mini ramp and some steps to grind. A picnic table gap and a few other things. Feels like an old tennis court. No shade and the restrooms are far away. Still the people are nice and the park is clean.
The bathroom maintenance is practically nonexistent. I have to bring my own toilet paper, because the bathroom never has any. The handicap stall door's lock has been broken for a couple years, and instead of being replaced or fixed, there is a piece of duct tape to hold it closed.
everyone there was nice after moving up here a few months ago they have made my family and myself feel welcomed.
Great place to have a event... I'm here live with @mega1073fm Christmas give away
I like this park in the late evenings because of lack of trees to hide from the extreme heat. The track is what I go for and less frequently the bars to to do calisthenics, they're good for that. Other than that the park is okay when there isn't a lot of homeless and garbage on all over the place, which can happen, lately it's not the case.
Nice park with a fairly decent skatepark in Adelanto. Lots of natural shade with baseball and soccer fields. Dog park and regular park for kids, only gave 4 stars due to cleansiness of the park.. It's not the cleanest park I've been to but also not the dirtiest.
Decent park, has a small dog park, a great skate park, soccer field, basketball court. The grass in the baseball diamond is superb. Toilets don't have stall doors. The trash cans need lids to prevent trash from blowing around.
This is a quaint little park with baseball fields and located adjacent to City Hall. During the summer they host "Movie Nights" on a screen. Bring a blanket, picnic basket and enjoy a fun family evening. Trees are large enough to offer shade and playground equipment is well maintained. This is also the home to Little League and the baseball diamond was in top condition like the dugouts, bleachers and restroom facilities. Parking is ample and within walking distance to the playground. Grass at time of my observation was green and the park was welcoming. Richardson Park offers a delightful contrast to the desert.
