The pilot was a great conversationalist and was very knowledgeable about the area. I personally did not do well with the turbulence but he was very attentive and provided ways to manage. The views were well worth it. And it was very affordable for two people.
I'd recommend everyone visiting the Adirondack area take a flight and see first hand how beautiful the Mountains & Lakes look from the sky. Chris was an excellent Pilot, smooth flight around the big Mountains, fun, great sense of humor, thanks Chris and Adirondack Flying Service!!
An amazing way to see the High Peaks. 20 minutes doesn't sound too long, but it was plenty for a beautiful exciting flight around the area. The pilot was very friendly and had lots of information to share about the area. I would definitely recommend taking a scenic flight with this company.
Thank you so much to the Adirondack Flying services for allowing me to level up on my flight training and experience mountain flying. It was an amazing experience and the staff and flight instructor was very friendly. Also to add the Cessna 152 that we flew today seemed very well maintained and the engine ran very well. If your not looking for flight instruction and your just looking for a scenic flight it’s highly recommended. What could be a better scenic flight than flying around lake placid and past Olympic event locations. Thanks again for the wonderful flight. Will be back again for sure.

Went in June and had an amazing time. It was my first time flying and the pilot was very reassuring and made sure the weather was okay for an anxious flyer. Felt longer than 20 minutes and you get unparalleled views of the area and a unique perspective from a lifelong local pilot. Be sure to ask him about other things in the area as he was very nice and gave us great recommendations for what to do/eat in town.

Awesome experience you should do once in your lifetime. Amazing views of the central High Peaks, and flew right by Mt. Marcy, Algonquin and the Great Range. Great pilot with a lot of flying time and experience. Would do again in a heartbeat.

we took our flight today. you could see for 100+ miles. my husband who is terrified of little plans came with me and couldn't believe how smooth it was. you couldn't tell we were landing or taking off!! our pilot was amazing and very knowledgeable on the area. we even got to see a moose as we landed. we recommend this to visitors to the area a great way to explore the adk.
