Partnering to Protect the Adirondack Region from Invasive Species
The Adirondack Park Invasive Plant Program (APIPP) serves as the Adirondack Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management (PRISM), one of eight PRISMs across New York. APIPP is a partnership program founded by the Adirondack Chapter of The Nature Conservancy, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, New York State Department of Transportation and New York State Adirondack Park Agency that has grown to include more than 30 cooperating organizations, and over 700 volunteers.
APIPP is housed by the Adirondack Chapter of The Nature Conservancy. Funding is provided by the New York State Environmental Protection Fund and administered by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation via a contract with The Nature Conservancy.
We thank all of our partners and collaborators who participate in the program and share their ideas, time, and resources to protect the Adirondacks from invasive species.
