The principals, Olga R. Kogan, R.D.H. and Mark A. Anema, D.M.D. had a dream and a desire to improve the oral healthcare of all senior citizens and disabled people in Colorado, and especially those residing in assisted living homes and nursing homes. Their company is dedicated to the realization of that dream. After many years of experience in dentistry, Kogan and Anema noticed there was a great need for basic dental care in these facilities that wasn’t being met. They designed a comprehensive Healthy Mouth For Life© program for nursing and assisted living homes. This program enables seniors and the disabled to get needed basic oral healthcare in the nursing and assisted living home environments.
ASDS also provides dental services and consultations to the public at the dental office of Dr. Anema. As a creative problem solver, Dr. Anema enjoys troubleshooting broken healthcare systems and creating rational, effective solutions. Ms Kogan, besides practicing dental hygiene has done university study and research in issues involving dental care for senior citizens.
