Great customer service! But omg fire gear is expensive :, haha plan on being able to leave your clothes there if you want them hemmed to size sleeves and pants sometimes the seamstress isn't there... they are running low on nomex, might as well call ahead if you know your sizing before you go so they can order it if nothing else. Have at least $1000 to blow!
They are fairly friendly and that's what the two stars are for. Other than that, they are a difficult uniform store to work with. Throughout my dealings with them I have experienced poor communication, poor quality control Returned a pair of boots that broke. They called me weeks later saying the boots were in and when I got there, the boots had some obvious workmanship issues. Not their fault the workmanship was off but they could have taken a look at them to ensure they were good before having me drive all the way out there just to point out the obvious issue, mediocre customer service...Feels like a store someone would run as a side job. I avoid this place unless I am directly sent there by my agency.
Just got my first two uniforms for a new agency from here. I'm coming from a Bay Area agency, and the uniform shops down there are all really bad. Advantage Gear was honestly amazing compared to what I'm used to. The shop is super clean, well organized, and staffed with knowledgeable associates.Thanks for the quick service!
Very friendly. Very helpful. Turn around time isn't great, but so far I am happy. Hopefully everything works out, but customer service was great. Better than galld-awful uniform store in sac. Not a lot of stock, but they can order anything.
For 25+ years I've been dealing with the uniform store in Sacramento Used to start w B but has since been switched to a G. The customer service there has degraded to the point where I won't set foot in the store any longer. Did a Google search and Advantage Gear popped up. Closer to home so I gave it a shot. Smaller show room than the "Big Brother" of uniform stores but great customer service, competitive prices and a good selection of products. I wish I had known about AG sooner. This is now my go to uniform shop.
The first pair of boots I bought here didn't work out so I came in to exchange them for another pair and they were happy to help and got me set up with a new pair that was exactly what I was looking for. Great service and very easy to deal with.
Very friendly service oriented staff. Customer service and satisfaction is clearly most important to them based on how I was treated. I highly recommend them.
They're ready good at getting what you need fast and efficiently. They treat you like you're their most prized customer.
The staff was helpful and kind throughout the entire process. I'd go back anytime and recommend to others.
Haven't had a negative experience in over 5 years. This place is an oasis in the desert.
