I purchased a new baseboard heater from Advantage through Amazon. The item was shipped in its original box. The ends were torn and retaped several times; far from new condition. An exposed panel cover had multiple scratches and the frame was bent. Due to time constraints, I fixed the bent frame, painted the scratched cover, and installed the unit. I called Advantage to request some credit but they refused and told me to ship it back. All I wanted was to be reimbursed for a can of paint which is a lot cheaper then shipping it back on their nickel. I just can't believe they would ship something in such fair condition in the first place.
