Of course no one loves being hurt but if you are and need excellent care, I would highly recommend. I see Dr Nematbakhsh. He is smart, kind, professional and knows his stuff. I usually get there early and have never had a wait so whoever does scheduling does a very good job. PMA also has in house physical therapy which is wonderful for someone like me who has a hard time going to any doctor. It's nice that when you get past the scared feeling and have trust in your doctor, you don't have to be sent all over to continue with the help you need, so this is awesome to me to have so much help under one roof with doctors you have come to trust. I did have one hiccup which was more my nervousness and a misunderstanding but Dr Nematbakhsh got past that and continued to help me. Even that shows his professionalism and integrity in helping people get better. I have nothing but great things to say about the level of care and really great staff as well. Madison is a stand out as well. She's so friendly and nice. Dr Leah is also just wonderful and smart as can be so if she comes in to do your appointment, you can expect awesome care and kindness as well. I don't get it but they read your x-rays like a page out of Clifford the Red Dog and don't miss a thing. Definitely would highly recommend.
My wait time is always excellent. The majority of the staff are awesome! They smile, they acknowledge you, update your information and prepare you for the Doctor. My Dr. who is Dr. Ahmad Nematbakhsh is the MAN though! I had been in a horrible car accident nearly 10 years ago that nearly cost me my life. I was nearly in the Hospital for nearly two months. I had so many surgeries that the nurses said they stop counting them jokingly. As a result I have a lot of health issues. I was in another bad car accident a year ago and as a result I needed a disc removed from my neck. I was referred to Dr. N to be my Orthopedic Dr. Dr. N did an awesome job on my surgery and I’ve healed really well! Unrelated to my surgery I ran into complications and Northside Hospital was trying to send me to another Hospital for additional surgery. Dr N gave me two options either stay here and we’ll see what happens if you need surgery I will do surgery but I don’t think you need it or you can go there where he has no say so and let them do additional surgery. I said no I’ll wait! The wait payed off! I didn’t need the additional surgery. Dr N stayed at the Hospital the entire time to monitor me to be sure that no additional surgery was needed. He’s a very nice, caring, smart and SHREWD Doctor! I’m glad that I listened to him knock on wood and saved myself from another surgery. Thanks Dr N!!! I would recommend ANYONE needing Orthopedic surgery to see Dr N he’s the ORTHO DOC!!!
If you're okay with your doctor trying to shame you then this is the place you want to go. No information was offered about my injury. I was told we can do the surgery or you can just wait for it to heal. After having the surgery I was not giving any information on anything as far as what I needed to do while I was healing over the next few weeks. I learned more from medical research videos & papers and Stanford Medical website then I ever learned from the doctor, including about the perforation, where the screw that they placed went through the bone and how it's not a good thing.
DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR THEY ARE CROOKS!! I was in-between jobs and had personal insurance with a high deductible when I herniated a disk. I was in a lot of pain, so I decided to get and MRI and see a doctor knowing I would be paying out of pocket. I went to this medical office for a doctor visit for them to look at my MRI and tell me my options or if there was anything they could do. They suggested an x-ray although I came with an MRI that I had taken a few days earlier, but I agreed not knowing. I did however know that I would be paying out of pocket, I made it clear to them that I wanted to pay in full out of pocket before I went there. When leaving the office, I again told them I want to pay in full out of pocket. I was charged $81.02. I paid $81.02, there is no other reason I would pay a random amount unless that is what they asked for. Two months later I get a bill charging $1015.00 for a 10 minute visit and $234.00 for an x-ray. I paid less for the MRI I had a few days prior, and I had an x-ray done for $50 somewhere else before that!! All the doctor did was looked at x-ray they took and MRI I had brought with me and tell me there is not much they can do, and that surgery is a last resort. I even asked for the billing codes for the surgery because I knew I would have to pay out of pocket! When I called about the bill, they said that I did not fill out the form waiving charging my insurance. How am I suppose to know that I need to fill out a form unless someone tells me that after I say "I WANT TO PAY OUT OF POCKET"! Then she threatened sending me to collections!! CROOKS!!!!! Disgusting that this office is willing to take advantage of people illnesses and when they are in unbearable pain!!!
Terrible place the service is horrible they don’t care about your appointments, I had to call the lady in the main office 4-5x they don’t wait in the phone to verify you receive ur emails. terrible customer service.
In Late September my brother, JT, suffered a broken clavicle as a result of a motorcycle accident. In his search for a qualified reliable second opinion regarding the injury, care and prognosis, he was referred to Dr. Albert. He was very anxious to find someone who was very qualified to set his mind at ease. The office staff was quick to establish an appointment on the very same day he called. With a few quick x-rays, Dr. Albert easily assessed his condition and provided a favorable care plan. My brother's entire experience was excellent with the feeling the team had his best interests in the forefront. Net Net, he highly recommends Dr. Albert, his PA, and the entire team to anyone needing qualified care.
Dr Albert is amazing, he is kind and compassionate and does a phenomenal job when he does surgery, your in great hands with him
Dr. Nienke is excellent at what he does. I am a dentist and needed carpal tunnel surgery on my dominant hand. For me, this was devastating since my hands are my livelihood. Dr. Nienke answered all of my questions, reassured me and even allowed me to schedule the surgery at a time that was convenient for me to close my office. He is very pleasant and has great bedside manner as well! Best of all, he did such an excellent job suturing my hand that you can barely tell there is a scar. I will definitely be back when it is time to do surgery on my left hand.
I love that Dr. Nienke don't give up on me and my pain and we will find a solution. Awesome Doctor and I am glad he is taking care of me. Every Doctor and staff at Pinellas Medical Associates is just awesome. Dr. Nematbakhsh aka Dr. N is also awesome. I have been his patient since 2012 and at first I was disappointed when I was transferred to Dr. Nienke but now I am so happy to be his patient. He takes his times, always explains everything and makes you feel comfortable in his care. I also love the staff at PMA , they all such a great Team. I recommend them to anyone who has any kind of orthopedic problem
The billing group over charges for each visit and collects the money before you are seen. Than getting the refund is crazy. I have had 7 calls already and the admit they owe a refund and that the check will be mailed 2 weeks ago but was not. This is now more than 3 months waiting on the refund for the over payment.
