Rocio is a CA Licensed Medical Aesthetician, Massage Practitioner, Reiki Practitioner, and C.I.D.E.S.C.O. Diplomat. C.I.D.E.S.C.O. is the major international beauty therapy association, whose certification is considered the world’s most prestigious qualification in the field of aesthetics and beauty therapy.
Rocio started her career at the Medical Spa at Nova in Virginia, where the main focus was laser therapy, advanced skin care, and therapeutic body treatments. After moving back to the Bay area, she has continued working along side Plastic Surgeons, Dermatologists, and Nurses in medical offices and spas, to effectively treat a variety of skin conditions and disorders.
In 2015, Rocio was nominated for Bay Area's A-List in three categories: Best Brow Shaping, Best Day Spa, and Best Facial. She was voted into 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place, respectively, in those three categories. In Addition, while working at Urban Allure, Rocio has been nominated by the San Francisco Chronicle/SFGate for Best Beauty/Brow Bar, three successive years. In 2009 she was voted 1st place for Best of the Bay, in this category; 2nd place in 2010; and was nominated in 2011 & 2013 for the categories: Best Facial, and Best Beauty/Brow Bar.
Rocio has received and continues to receive advanced trainings in various holistic and medical spa modalities to treat premature aging, acne and hyperpigmentation. She centers her practice around the belief that skincare does not have to be complex to be effective, and focuses on educating clients to help them achieve their skincare goals. She begins each treatment by thoroughly assessing each client’s skin, and developing a treatment plan to achieve maximum results. By applying a combination of luxury and efficacy, each treatment is relaxing, yet results oriented.

SKIN CARE
Signature Facial
The most requested facial. The Signature Facial employs the use of the DF Machine, which utilizes a combination of Pulsed Iontophoresis and Low Frequency Sonophoresis. This revolutionary system enhances the absorption and penetration (several thousand fold) of highly active vitamins and ionized serums, of the highest quality, deep into the skin, ensuring optimum effective results. This treatment stimulates cellular repair, collagen and elastin production, improves oxygenation to the skin, hydrates, provides rejuvenation for aging skin, and improves pigmentation, fine lines, acne, and overall health of the skin. Visible results are observed as early as the first treatment, and continues to build with each successive treatment. Each facial includes a deep cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, massage, and Sonophoresis & Iontophoresis treatment.
Signature Deep Pore Facial
This facial employs all the techniques used in the Signature Facial and includes an extra emphasis on extractions & an acne treatment to alleviate clogged pores and improve problematic skin
Custom Facial
A European style facial. Provides a luxurious experience, while skin rejuvenation occurs. This facial includes a deep cleansing, exfoliation, light extractions, masks, and massage.
Deep Pore Cleansing Facial
A no nonsense facial. This facial is designed to alleviate clogged pores and improve problematic skin. Emphasis is placed on extractions, and includes a deep cleansing, exfoliation, acne treatment, and treatment mask(s).
Pregnancy Facial
For the mom-to-be. This facial is designed to addresses the hormonally driven changes of the skin that may occur during pregnancy. This treatment is relaxing and safe, yet effective in decongesting pores, alleviating acne, and deeply hydrating the skin to sustain that "pregnancy glow."
Glow on the Go
An express facial. Ideal for in between regular facials, or for those pressed for time. This facial is customized, and employs similar techniques used in either the Custom Facial or Deep Pore Cleansing Facial, but shortened to fit into a busy schedule.

Emergency Extractions
Microdermabrasion
A non-surgical cosmetic procedure, that utilizes a diamond encrusted wand to deeply exfoliate the skin and accelerate the cell renewal process. This treatment is effective in reducing pore size, smoothing fine lines, improving skin texture, lightening pigmentation, and aides in controlling acne. The best results are achieved through a series of treatments, followed with a recommended maintenance program.

Pumpkin Peel
Pumpkin contains naturally powerful enzymes and antioxidants, which will simultaneously exfoliate and draw impurities out, while infusing vitamins and nutrients into the skin. This treatment brightens and rejuvenates, leaving a smooth skin texture and providing pore clearing action, resulting in a healthy glow, with little to no post-treatment exfoliation.
Sensi Peel
An exceptional choice for all skin and sensitivity levels. Sensi Peel® will strengthen and brighten the skin while helping to treat sun damage and other forms of skin discoloration. This multi-faceted treatment provides anti-inflammatory, anti-acne and antibacterial action. Also an excellent choice to help calm rosacea, as redness and inflammation can subside substantially after treatment. Highly effective with little to no visible peeling.
Ultra Peel
Formulated to treat maturing skin. Ultra Peel® I is appropriate for Fitzpatrick skin types I-V, and most sensitivity level. This treatment will improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, dry and lax skin, uneven surface texture, dehydration, and adult acne. In addition, significant improvement can be seen by those whose skin has been impacted by hormonal fluctuations, "smoker’s skin," pigment disorders, and sun damage. The final result will be plump, hydrated and ultra-soft skin. Moderate to aggressive exfoliation may be experienced.
PCA Jessner's Peels
This treatment will help decongest pores, clear acne and rejuvenate the skin. With its blend of alpha and beta hydroxy acids and brighteners, it is also an excellent choice for correcting pigment discolorations and maintaining even for those with hydroquinone sensitivities.

Safe for all skin types. This medical grade peel is very effective in correcting fine lines, wrinkle, hyperpigmentation/melasma, acne, acne scars. Improvements in and overall texture, tone, and health of your skin will be observed.
