The staff was Excellent!!! But unfortunately the dentist wanted me to get a full bottom denture which I didn't want. I only wanted a bottom partial which I knew in a couple of years I would have to get my last 2 teeth pulled and then get the bottom denture. Oh well he insisted that I get the denture and I told him no. He not only lost my business but I won't be going back for when I do need my bottom denture. This review is not to make the staff look bad because I even told them before I checked out that they were Awesome! It was just that young male dentist that turned me off. My bottom partial will be arriving at another dentist on August 24, 2023.
The first time I went to affordable dental I felt pretty confident but when I went back for my second appointment, I had a very bad experience. I also found out that the dentist was not completely honest with me about having my teeth pulled iand then walking out with new dentures, it's not that easy. You actually leave with temporary dentures and the woman said you have to learn to talk all over again, and really get used to them, so I would recommend people go to a regular dentist and get a partial if necessary in order to prepare yourself for dentures. Additionally, they kept 20% of my money when I changed my mind after my second appointment, which was a really horrible experience. He asked me which one of the employees it was that I had a bad experience with and I didn't know her name but another assistant knew the name and told him, yet, he challenged me and said all my employees are great! Well if you want to protect a bad employee, that's your choice. They required me to come in to get my refund and had me wait in the waiting room for a solid hour before I was called back, then I could see that the doctor was upset that I wanted a refund. While I was waiting, there was a terrible program on the television set about a murdererer who was bludgeoning a young lady. Then a woman came in off the street who was unfortunately out of her mind and intimidating all of the patients in the waiting room. I have absolutely no confidence in Affordable dentures.
My experience, after 20 years of coming here, is that the new ownership made great changes to the way patients are treated. Yesterday was the best appointment I've ever had here when getting a new appliance. Staff are extremely friendly, patient and the chaotic atmosphere that used to be prevalent here is now gone. New ownership has done great things here.
A poor women in a walker who could barely walk was left standing at the window. I knocked on the window at told them, this lady has been waiting quite a while. Cant you help her? The receptionist rudely told me she was helping another client. Well, that client could stand quite well. Couldnt she say excuse me sir, and check her in. Plus at the check in window was a curled up rug. I tried to tell the lady that i almost tripped over it and perhaps they would like to avoid a lawsuit say. Very rude!
I was thankful to find this place after having a runaround with other dental/surgery clinics. The staff was very kind and took the time to answer all my questions. There was no surprise fees, everything was upfront, clear and affordable or have payment options. Thankyou.
I came here in 2018 and got implants etc done. The dentist was very good back then and well staffed. This time was very different. I had an implant crown fall out. They never flushed flushed the area to make sure it was clean. When the dentist put the post up into the hole, it was very painful, I almost came up out of the chair and he just did not seem to care. Then I stopped in this morning to inquire about antibiotics since he never cleaned the area. Staff said he would call me, he never did. Bad experience. Will not go back there.
This place is amazing. So friendly and caring.. I went in for top plate ,walk me thru everything & answered all questions that I had. I will be going back when I get my bottoms pulled . I recommend them to everyone now Thank you all so very much for giving me my smile back
Very professional friendly people who looks for the patients best interest. Very knowledgeable of the questions I asked and gave me a great deal for what I was looking for. Will recommend to family, and friends!
The people who work there are very very nice and that helps when you are first going through the implant denture process. This could be tramatic for some people when they are younger. I do have to say the in-house lab does beautiful work and you would never know they are dentures. I think it is very expensive to get upper & lower sets of implants/dentures at the same time. Between both sets its about $15k. I gave 4 stars only because of the cost.
Very capable staff and doctor. When the process turned difficult, they professionally dealt with the issues and completed the job. I would recommend this office.
