Africa New Day empowers the people of D.R. Congo to transform their communities, nation and world. Through activities focused on education, discipleship
Following reports of atrocious human rights violations in their homeland, Esther and Camille Ntoto relocated to war-torn Congo in 2005. With conviction from God, they founded Africa New Day (AND) to help bring hope and restoration through the love of Christ. Ministering in one of the most unstable regions of the world, they believe in God’s plans for the people of Africa – “plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future.”
Founder Camille Ntoto explains, “Our goal is to attack the root causes of conflict in order to address present situations, reconcile the past, and prevent future recurrences of crisis. Because social cohesion is so strong within the fabric of Congolese culture, our Christ-centered and holistic strategies empower individuals in order to influence and transform the society.”
AND’s ministries include programs for men, women and children, as well as a leadership academy and national radio broadcasts. Ntoto says, “Through our ministries and outreach, we have touched the lives and inspired thousands who are now spreading hope and love through their own efforts. A new day has dawned for Africa.”
