Afton Tavern

Great service and very good food. Their signature cocktails are also very good, varied, and reasonably priced enough to try a couple! Highly recommend the Kickin Chicken sandwich, not too spicy at all, and the Afton Berry cocktail tastes like I imagine purple would taste. BBQ Chicken Skillet was good too, and a ton of food. The red skin in the potatoes overpowered them a little but try a little salt and pepper and they are just fine!

This is our second home. My son loves the quesadilla. My favorite is the chicken salad plate, but I have also tried multiple things on the menu and have not been disappointed. The service is also great. Kid-friendliness: My son loves it here. The staff knows his order and let's him choose the booth to sot in, if available.

Booked the private room for our rehearsal dinner. Very easy to communicate and set up the details. The manager always responded in a short period of time. When we arrived everything was setup and ready. They allowed me to bring in a cake and had a cake table set up for us. Our server was phenomenal. He was very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent. I was very pleased with everything.

Second time dining here on the patio, and it was fabulous. Good service, good food, and beautiful weather. Thursday drink specials from the tap. When you come, you just feel like lingering over libations and conversation, as the ambiance is welcoming. Kid-friendliness: Kid menu, sports on TV... Wheelchair accessibility: Flat, easy to maneuver area between tables.

Super nice looking from the outside. Our waitress was great, but the food was mid and flavorless. French Dip auju tasted like soy sauce. Advertised as $ sign on Google, but prices were just as expensive as the burger joint across the road. Nothing screaming 'Tavern' here except for the beer and appetizers.Food: 2/5

Overall Good experience. Great Food at reasonable prices! Very casual atmosphere with a modern feel. Our Server was excellent, making sure our drink glasses were always full and that we had everything we needed. My only complaint was that my hamburger was a tad bit over cooked but other than that, everything was great. Would recommend!Food: 3/5

We live nearby and went for dinner; sat on the outside patio, it was very nice weather that March evening! Nice friendly service from staff. Nice inside dining area and bar. Got roast beef with au jus and girlfriend had fish and chips which were both good but not great. RB sandwich could have used more meat, 4 dollar upcharge. Not much else to complain about as the overall experience was great! Will be back. Waitress was great!

I had dinner on a Sunday evening & I must say I really enjoyed myself. I ordered a drink which was slightly watered down & the manager Ms. Lee remade it. She's a very vibrant & sweet woman who checked on us regularly. Our waitress Sierra was also very nice & made honest recommendations off the menu. Came here for an early dinner. The waiter was extremely friendly, almost suspiciously so. However he may have been high due to him confusing us about the specials. Regardless he was nice and bought the beer for us. The wing special was great. Wings were good. No complaints on an avg side salad. Do not recommend the bbq chicken or the quesadilla. Bacon was tough, chicken not tender, cheese was bland. On second thought I should have purchased tavern food like burgers and wings. May have been a better experience.
