Agave Mexican Grill

My apologies for posting a pic where I had already dug in. The street corn tortilla was really fresh. I had steak and pork. I wasn't too keen on the pork, but it was obviously freshly made. While the steak had good flavor I prefer it not being "minced up". I also would have loved more cilantro. The corn tortilla was my favorite part of the meal. Agave has really good lunch deals.

Such a beautiful restaurant, and the food was delicious with great portions! They bring out chips, mild salsa, and a spicy salsa. The queso was delicious! My husband and I each got the chicken burrito mexicanos. We could both barely finish our plates. I also really loved all of the art inside. Also, there's an upper level with seating! Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, and our son's meal came out very hot and fresh. He loved it!

I usually love eating here. One of the best places around Beaufort to eat Mexican food. Was just left on hold for 20 mins before either the call cut out or they hung up. Kind of disappointing when I have been eating here for years. Don't let this little review stop you. The food there is amazingFood: 4/5

I went to this restaurant hoping to have a good experience since my brother graduated from the Marines, but instead, the waiter we first had was very rude the minutes he came over our table. We were looking over the menu, and the waiter told us that he had not time to be waiting on us to take our order if we weren't ready. He then walked away. We then asked if we could have a different waiter, which we did. The food was okay, but there was no apology from them.

Mom thought her taco salad was the best ever. Dad and Fisher couldn't finish their large portions of fajitas and carne asada. I really enjoyed my street steak tacos and the portobello mushroom taco, although I couldn't tell that it was portobello and just not regular mushrooms, but still good!Food: 5/5

The staff was very friendly. Food was bomb. We got the texana fajitas, sopes, and flautas. Best decision we made. The drinks were real good. Our server was the best. He was super friendly and on point with checking on us. Totally recommend this place to everyone who is coming for their US Marines graduation.

Absolutely love this place. The owner has done an amazing job with his employees. Our server Carlos was great. Attentive but not over bearing. Food as always was perfect. Anyone wanting good Mexican food in Beaufort should come here. Love that they make their guacamole fresh daily. It is always great! Kid-friendliness: Kind to the kids and patient with them. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out.

We usually have good food but this was bland, missing ingredients, super soggy bread, wrong ingredients, and just horrible service.Food: 1/5

We're not 100 fans of the Mexican restaurants in our area, but Agave got us into this. They have authentic Mexican food that tasted homemade we were very impressed. So if you are in the Beaufort area, this is the place you have to visit if you are looking for Mexican seafood recipes. Plus, they have excellent customer service. Place is nice and clean.

Let me start by saying the atmosphere here is fun and very inviting. Margarita's are very tasty! They run a great Happy Hour special on Friday. The food was fair. My husband and I eat Mexican often and the rice and beans were good. Was not overly impressed as the chopped steak was chewy and dry. Other food, just fair. Service is good and the restaurant has roomy booths and great drinks. Based on one review only.
