Moving my stuff out today. Had an incredibly unwelcoming experience with the staff. Informed that we need to give a ten day notice and we have 10 days to pay our pill before it is late. Let them know okay, then I'll pay for another month. Was then told in a very rude tone, "you have to pay!" I dont know why this couldn't have been brought up in a nicer way, but as a manager of customer service, I really find this level of communication appaling.
I have had a storage here for 6 months or more and I can tell you that the grounds are clean and the units I rented are both clean and safe. The owner is very sweet and has worked very hard to keep her customers happy and has great concern for her customers and the security of their property.
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS STORAGE. they will Nicole and done you till the end. If you want to receive your deposit back make sure you get every last piece of a lead out or you will not receive your deposit back over a leaf. Do not recommend.
I have had a storage rental here since October of 2001. Easy access, competitive pricing, excellent upkeep, and lovely management.
I've never written a review before, but felt it necessary to warn people about this place. The grounds are clean, but some units have issues with the door frame letting in rain water. My brother's did. My co-worker and brother both had storage units there and moved out because of the owner. She is too nosy about what tenants are putting in their unit and complains about every little nick or scratch to the walls and door frame. She even asked my co-worker why he comes to his storage unit so often. My brother rented there years ago when Tony was the owner and says that back then it was a great place but that this woman has ruined it in the time he has been gone. If you want privacy, this is not the place to store your possessions. Decent facility, but a really picky, nosy and bad woman to deal with.
Warning - I Paid two months in advance & then received call from Kay saying that “I” was not happy at her facility and therefore she would be refunding my money. ? What? That right - “I” was not happy. ? Why then would I have paid 2 months in advance if “I” was not happy. Confused? You bet I was- The Real reason she was inferring I leave was that I forgot to say “Thank you” after I broke a piece of Tupperware. I had swept as best I could & then Kay followed with vacuum. I had to dash off & my huge mistake was that I forget to say thank you. After receiving this confusing phone call I apologized profusely- but she then decided to treat me the way She perceived that I treated her that day because clearly and she then said “You are mean.” Really? This woman is preposterous. I was having a bad day but she never let me forget that I forgot to say thank you. And that I am a mean person. She is my.... Mother? Related? It’s a STORAGE UNIT lady - People break things —- by accident—- omg. To her I was now her sworn enemy - Was her use of illogical reverse psychology legal? Do I consider her threatening while being force-ably told to take a refund? She will walk her dog over to check your activity every time you go to your unit- Zero privacy- total paranoia- meddling- attitude- bad business practices- threatening behaviors - good riddance.
