Do you know under the Women’s Health and Cancer Right of 1998, group health plans, insurance companies and health maintenance organizations (HMOs) offering mastectomy coverage also must provide coverage for certain services relating to the mastectomy? This required coverage includes all stages of reconstruction of the breast on which the mastectomy was performed, surgery and reconstruction of the other breast to produce a symmetrical appearance, prostheses and treatment of physical complications of the mastectomy, including lymphedema.
At my business, a Certified Mastectomy Fitter will happily fit your breast cancer patients with tender, loving care. Whether she needs a breast prosthesis, bra, or compression garment, trust she will receive the very best care. We also provide Certified Compression Fitters for upper and lower extremity edema. To ensure a personalized and confidential fitting experience, appointments are preferred but walk-ins are always welcome.
My business also offers an assortment of products and services from breast prosthetics, wigs, and pneumatic compression pumps, to all of the “must-have” ancillary items. With a wide selection from which to choose, we have something to meet the needs of all!
After each patient contact experience, your office will receive a fax and/or e-mail from us describing the encounter, including which products were fit.
