The runway is good; beware of plenty of parachuters in the area.
I was going to rate this airport with three stars. It's not spectacular, but is definitely worth more than three stars. The fuel is inexpensive, the runway is good, and there is plenty of parking. It has a pilot's lounge, and some vending machines. There is a flight instruction School and a skydiving school on site as well.
It's the location Skydive Spaceland is located at. They are a nice paved runway and have places to park.
The staff and people there are very helpful and polite. There is the tallest Japanese tandem instructor that I have ever seen. Always smiling and eating rice cakes. A must goto if you are in the area and looking to skydive and have a great time.
Friendly little airport, great for skydiving.. When you skydive 60sec freefall you'll be able to see both the East and West coast of Florida! Magnificent :
It's always a pleasure spending the day at Airglades! The weather was beautiful and the hospitality is superb!
