Description

The Airport Tavern was originally built in 1945 by the Gomez Family to serve the former Three Points Airport. Giving the locals and Flyboys a place to grab a beer and a burger. It is now owned and operated by Julia Mikkelsen. Currently it is a Live music venue featuring the best Country and Western and Rock And Roll bands in the Valley. We have a full menu featuring freshly grilled fare including our rapidly becoming famous 1/2 lb Blackk Angus burger.

A great find.   As advertised a dive bar with a cook shack outside in the desert.   Soooo cool. Plus $2.50 drafts     Burger was awesome.  Julie was my first gracious welcome.  Henry was outside ensuring ice cold beverages arrived.  And Queenie was the perfection maker with my burger choice 110% exactly like I like em. Plus crisp fresh lettuce n tomato.  Can’t go wrong with this on your radar for great food and easy going atmosphere.

It was a chill bar spot.. there was sitting indoor and outdoor.. very nice vibe.. people were chit-chatting and dancing... I love the music was loud enough where u can talk to your friends easily and not in their ears..Food: 5/5

Friday night's steak for a meal, is great. Huge baked potato, salad, and some flavorful beans. Service is excellent. Have visited numerous times over a 5 week period- friendly patrons, friendly bartenders. Drinks are reasonably priced.Food: 5/5

Love this place.  Funky little local bar with a rather large sandy beech like patio area.  The outdoor grill puts out some of the best steaks on town, menu is pretty varied and the beer is cold!Food: 5/5

Omg, this place is awesome! Stopped with my mother while I was in town to visit/help her with stuff. My dad and her had been here many times and she said it was a must that I go. It's a small place with a cool atmosphere and very friendly staff. I got a bacon cheeseburger and my mother got a chili burger, both of them were excellent!. A guy that works there was walking around continually checking on tables and talking to everyone, he really made us and I'm sure everyone else, feel very welcomed and appreciated. He actually came out with me while I took pictures for this review and informed me that karaoke was starting soon! There is a huge outdoor area and karaoke is every tue night. Ended up staying and sang a cpl songs, always love singing karaoke! Next time I visit, I'll make sure I'm in the area for tuesday karaoke and will try something else off the menu. Definitely a must stop place!!

This is a regular old hole in the wall,  it would be nice if they had 2 separate bars,  more indoor space, and  Concrete  parking.  But forwhat it's worth  you will definitely have a blast.

Don't let the outside scare you...head in, then out to the yard, where you can hang at tables, enjoy their infamous steaks, get a good old bar drink, and dance with the dj .  Misters on, so that helps in summer nights.   No, despite the billboard, it's not  church.  Be prepared on certain nights they will totally scan your ID. So I'm legal, or there is now a duplicate of all my info somewhere.

Airport Tavern in my opinion is the Best place to relax in town. Friday and Saturday nights are awesome! The Best night all year round is the night before Thanksgiving, it's like a class reunion. Ken and Jules are outstanding owners, the staff behind the bar are all wonderful people! I want to name a few......I might miss a couple, forgive me if I do. Angela is a fun and brilliant young woman, Michelle has a great personality and makes me laugh, Jessica is quiet, but very thoughtful and kind, Cassie is short but her beauty and great smile is very refreshing - I like how she teases me, Aiden is tall and is very sexy and extremely attractive, Cortney is the country cow girl and very attractive as well, Bones is funny and a great guy to talk to, Henry is a great guy......and I know I'm missing someone, I miss Dallas from Canada, and Jennifer from Oklahoma.....two amazing woman as well! This is by far the best bar in town! Give me a two thumbs up if you agree!  The kitchen staff are wonderful as well, and cook some outstanding grub.... Try the Raccoon it's actually pretty good!  The steaks are best in town!

Great little dive bar!! We will be back to try the rib eye steak special soon
