Active Isolated Stretching and Strengthening is a form of exercise and stretching that simultaneously increases the range of motion and strength in joints.
Roger began teaching fitness and
wellness as a fitness instructor in the
mid ‘70’s. It wasn’t until the late ‘90’s
however that Roger discovered the
restorative and healing benefits of
the Aaron Mattes’ method of AIS.
Aaron soon became Roger’s mentor
and friend, asking him to become his
assistant. Roger has since then been
teaching AIS seminars and
conducting workshops across
America and Canada. Roger and
Aaron have partnered to create high
standards for certification of
therapists in The Mattes Method of
AIS. Roger is proud to work with and
