AISES: To nurture building of community by bridging science and technology with traditional native values. Through its educational programs, AISES provides opportunities for other academic arenas. The trained professionals then become technologically informed leaders within the Indian community. AISES' ultimate goal is to be a catalyst for the advancement of American Indians as they seek to become self-reliant and self-determined members of society.
SACNAS: Promote the mission of SACNAS at the local and national level to offer educational and professional development resources and opportunities to students.
- SACNAS is a society of scientists dedicated to fostering the success of Hispanic/Chicano and Native American scientists-from college students to professionals-to attain advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership.
- SACNAS members are dedicated to giving back through mentorship, peer networks, professional development, and by engaging in science research and leadership of the highest caliber. The organization, its members, and chapters are committed to encouraging minority students and scientists to advance to their utmost capability.
