A.J. Whittenberg Elementary School of Engineering 4th Grade FLL Lego Robotics Team. We are building and programming robots and developing innovations to improve the world around us.
A.J. Whittenberg Elementary School of Engineering is the only elementary school in South Carolina, and one of only a handful nationwide, with a school-wide engineering curriculum beginning in K4. Recently released school report cards for the Federal Accountability ESEA Act, gave AJW the only perfect "100 - A" ranking of any elementary school in the Greenville County School District.
A.J. Whittenberg opened its doors in Fall 2010 to K4-2nd grade. The school adds a grade level each year, welcoming 4th grade for academic year 2012-2013. It is the most technologically advanced elementary school in Greenville County. A solution-based curriculum and engineering labs give students hands-on experience and teach critical thinking skills. Students learn how to think, and develop a thirst for knowledge.
The FLL Lego Robotics Team at A. J. Whittenberg is dedicated to using our engineering skills to meet each FLL Challenge with gracious professionalism and teamwork.
