Great place for a pint! I got a Reuben and I was shocked that the corned beef was bland. Wanted to like it more than I did. It was really a two star sandwich. The chicken pot pie was tasty and had a ton of chicken in it. The salads were really good, too!Food: 4/5

If you are in the town of Hamden, this is a great place to grab food. Plenty of authentic Irish cuisine and the best pint of Guinness around. Price, atmosphere, people and drinks always top notch. Sit in the dining room or grab a table in the bar it's all cozy. There are also 2 outside decks to enjoy

We had the best time here last night!! Friendly service, great Irish whiskey, the bangers and mash were authentic and AMAZING, and the fish fry was light and crispy! And loved the band, too! Will be back!Food: 5/5

Lovely pub with an adjoining restaurant. Good mix of beers and solid food, including some Irish staples Guinness stew is very good when available, as is the Irish breakfast on weekends. One of the better pours of Guinness around here. Nice, warm, and friendly vibe. Service tends to be very good. Multiple televisions with sports on. Live Irish music on Saturday’s and Sunday’s. Good mix of regulars and new patrons. Welcoming environment.

This is a really nice Irish pub. The interior and decor are pretty typical of a proper Irish pub, and it's rather large on the inside. They have great food here and we've been a few times. On this visit we just got apps. Sitting on the bar side, you still get table service but you seat yourself you have to wait to be seated on the restaurant side. We got the 5 alarm wings and they were spicy but not super hot - I'm not complaining :- We also got the truffle fries and Murphy skins. Both were pretty good. Overall, great service and great food. We'll be back.

Love this neighborhood bar! Happens to be in the neighborhood I grew up in... good food good drinks good times!
