We make it easier for you to shop because we read the labels first. We believe our customers shouldn't have to spend their valuable time reading labels searching for foods free of harmful chemical additives and artificial ingredients. So you won't find many of the typical grocery store items in our supermarket ... they simply aren't good enough for our customers.

Tracy is Amazing! She works there. She made me feel so comfortable. Everyone was nice. Great prices that I can afford and so many different variety of items that your whole family can use. I was so impressed and will continue to go there and make it my main vitamin store. I give it five stars !!!!
Repeated issues with a nasty and volatile manager named Amanda. Yesterday I attempted to return a homeopathic remedy with a receipt from a week ago. This woman was rude going on and on about how I needed read the return policy which clearly states on the receipt that it can be returned. Told me I didn’t know how to take the remedy and that she had the right to choose what she returned as they couldnt have all their policies listed. On and on... I told her I needed to leave as I was late for work so just tell me if she was returning it or not. She through the remedy at me and said no then she wasn’t. She walked away and refused to acknowledge me when I then asked her name to report her. I called the Lincoln store and I hope someone actually does something about Amanda. This woman isn’t just missing skills needed, she clearly had issues. Multiple times she has been nasty to me. After speaking to a former employee this is an on going problem and that employee left after being treated so poorly by this woman over and over again and apparently upper management does nothing. I will never return. Thank goodness there is Natural Grocers which has lower prices anyway. Good luck Akins. You lost $100s and &100s from me alone this year due to this woman.
I really really love the items at this store many items are difficult to find elsewhere....however the manager on duty ignored me and my little girll waiting to, check out. She never even once gave any notice to us but kept walking in and out of her backroom being loud and speaking to someone about her personal life laughing loudly...me and my child both feel very disrespected and are very sadenned by this careless managers actions...Even if I loved the products very much at akins , it is not worth going there to be treated so inhumanely..so it saddens me I will no longer be going and purchasing items I need from there ... hopefully i can find the items elsewhere..no matter what...i will not allow me and my little girl to be disrespected and treated like garbage
The staff is friendly & helpful. They have some products you can't find elsewhere locally. The prices are on par with similar stores, but generally less than, say, Whole Foods. Stop here first.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of products and you get a free little newsletter/magazine full of great information and recommendations. Love it.
Quite the selection to be had in this part of town. You pay a little more, but it is convenient. The most welcoming staff I've seen in a while.

Always in Stock of what I crave. Namely kombucha! Very friendly staff that are always willing to help!
Distilled water refills. Apple cider vinegar. Good choice of local honey
