Staff tend towards ignoring patients. My appointments here always run behind; the last one was 45 minutes behind scheduled time. Can't hear names being called for appointments, when you ask if they called your name, you are ignored. Appointment check is confusing, too many "check in" desks, making the process difficult to find the right place for your appointment location. Finding Parking is an issue at certain times of the day.
This place has gone downhill fast in the last couple of years. The employees are great. The doctors are horrible and the management is worse. I highly suggest getting a second opinion on everything. -00001

Great staff, plenty of parking, clean facility, could use a an update or two but otherwise a wonderful place for veterans to go and have there medical needs addressed and cared for.
Dr. Rock is my mental health provider & has been my favorite provider among the many doctors the military has afforded me to see.
Dr A & Nurse Jackie have far surpassed my expectations. Overall everyone at the VA PAC 2 Akron and Louis Stokes in Cleveland have treated me far better than any civilian sector has. I feel like I am valued and not just a number.
Doctors qnd nurses are good here. Some of the front desk check out are very rude. People don't want to work anymore. The lady with an accent at the lab check in was difficult to understand and she always on the phone and screaming at you. You serve your country and then are treated disrespectful.
If you're anything like me and notice or encounter constant disrespect from civilization, this is the place to go as a veteran to be treated the way we all should be. Very relieving experience. Staff is very well mannered and they make you feel very welcome.
I dread using the VA because overall atmosphere is not welcoming at all. EVERYONE was so nice at Akron, front desk, Diane, Dr. A, the personnel screening at the annex door.
Very well organised optometry department. Dr. Patterson is very thorough.
