Boy oh boy, I wanted to voice it out for so long. I was walking by the walmart and guess what did I see. In shock I saw their banner outside another big liquor store coming in the neighborhood asking people to oppose that store. I fully agree with other reviews, these guys are trying to keep the prices up for a long time to come.
The selection is great, but prices are not. I use the delivery app Drizzly, and AL's is $5 - $10 more on average compared to other stores in the area.
I have been visiting this store for years now. Unfortunately don’t see them improving on anything. Store is tiny and the selection minuscule and the prices are still high as they were years ago. We need a much bigger liquor store and lower prices in this neighborhood.
Very High prices. Smell in the store was disgusting. Tiny selection. Working against the community to prevent a better store coming in the neighborhood. Horrible customer service. Anticompetitive practices.
So, you think we don’t understand who is posting banners and sticking flyers to oppose that big liquor store that is coming in our neighborhood.
Decent little liquor store, I finally found the moscato that I was looking for so I’m happy.
Has a great spirit selection I found drinks that I have a hard time finding on a regular. I've been looking for this ciroc white grape for months I love this place.
Out of Jameson half pints for over a week maybe 2. So Ive been having to but the individual shots which cost more. Other then that great place, good prices, along with caring an competent staff.
It was probably about 30 years ago, but, I do remember when the actual "Al G" opened this liquor store. Cool dude. I don't know if he's still around. If he is, I bet he's REALLY HAPPY about how the current owners are carrying on the legacy of his store. These guys set the bar high when it comes to good customer service. One guy, in particular I'm going to find out his name and come back to add it has gone above and beyond to accomodate me and my pickiness. FIVE STARS FOR SURE!!
Good bourbon selection. A bit too much of a markup on the high-end items. Edit: Since the owners responded- no they are not forced to price these items as high as they do by the manufacturer. Yes, it is their right to do so, but I would suggest you do your due diligence and ensure you're not overpaying.
