New Albany's hidden gem!! There's not too places this side of the river that I absolutely love and could eat everyday, but this is my new favorite place. The food is great and the cakes are amazing. My husband is a very picky eater and he loves it too. I definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
Sometimes I get a craving for this place that just won’t quit! All of their food is good, but I especially love the babaganoush and fresh feta made fresh daily. I can make a meal if that and the soft pita… mmm. Authentic flavors and great experience! GO!!!
Food flavors were amazing, but the pita bread was abnormally chewy this time. Loved the decorations for Ramadan!Food: 4/5
My family and I LOVE Aladdin's! It's an unassuming restaurant like how much insanely good ones tend to be. Their chicken curry and shawarma are PHENOMENAL! I don't know anywhere in the tri-city area OR Louisville that offers such tasty eastern foods. The indoor dining experience could have a bit more in terms of atmosphere BUT it's comfy, clean and most importantly SO YUMMY. There's also more atmospheric seating options outside : . I highly recommend this place.
Went there for lunch with the family. We each enjoyed our food and didn't leave hungry. As most people have said, the hummus is very tasty with lovely, warm and soft pita. Would definitely go back.Food: 5/5
Been there several times, the food is always hot and delicious. The folks who own it, are friendly and helpful. Going back tonight and try more delicious healthy dishes.Food: 5/5
New Albany's best kept secret. Mediterranean food can be tricky to do well but Aladdin's does all of it well. The Chicken Curry Bowl is top notch, but don't sleep on the shawarma, either. Oh, and the desserts aren't to be missed. 10/10, cannot recommend enough.Food: 5/5
Quaint little spot in downtown New Albany near the river. Nice parking lot. The spot is in the cluster of Underground Shops. Ordered the grilled Lamb Chops, came with rice and mixed grilled veggies. Added a small side of tzaziki and sweet iced tea. Everything is served in to go vessels, you can dine-in or sit on the patio courtyard. No alcohol, coke products. Very clean and nice atmosphere, I was treated to watching X Men closed captioned while dining. Tasty food, freshly prepared, seasoned quite nicely. Ask for sumac and zatar, they'll spice.it up for you. Friendly service. Order at counter, have a seat, they'll call you to get your order when done. Efficient. Extensive menu. Lots to try. I'll be back. Vegetarian options: Mediterranean cuisine, lots of vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: Nice family restaurant. Parking: Parking lot behind building.
This was my first Mediterranean meal and it was delicious! We split the falafel, a fried cheese appetizer, a gyro and the baklava. Everything was perfectly delicious! The gyro sauce! The fried cheese!!! Mmm....they charge too much for drinks no refills but the food was reasonably priced.
This is an amazing hidden gem in New Albany. The food here is so fresh, flavorful, and the best thing I have put in my mouth in years. Family owned and operated. The wait staff is super friendly. I wish I could give them 10 stars! Everything is reasonably priced.
