What a fun way to watch a movie!! The seats are big to accommodate a table in between the seats which is there for food and drinks. They have a menu of various food items, popcorn, pizza, etc. You can even get a beer or glass of wine. A server comes around to take your order and deliver it - so cool!! We got soda, popcorn and a plain pizza, all pretty good. The inside of the theater is very cool and has a vintage feel. We will definitely be back!
Fantastic location. Our first time visiting this theater. Very clean. Its quiet in the lobby. Bathrooms were also very clean. The seats were extremely comfortable and reclined! And also the staff was super friendly and took the time to confirm our food order. The food was delicious will definitely come back again!
1st time here so to start nice atmosphere & clean theater not a bad theater at all comfortable seat that are recliners & most of all great tasting food & beverages. Downside ordering before a movie is okay but during a movie a pain. Having to write down on a paper & wait for them to pass .instead of having a service button incase they forget bring total amount of drinks or plates. & only reason 3 stars where givin was due too the movie cutting off 3 times during the viewing..Besides that great place come with friends or partners.
Featuring retro flicks really gives me such a great sense of nostalgia...AND the opportunity to share laughs with the next generation. I promise I never thought I’d be hearing “there’s no basement at the Alamo” while listening to my sweet kiddos giggling in loungers at the theatre. I love the various theatre sizes - with some holding fewer than 50 people. So, if you have an aversion when it comes to crowds - you can find the right spot here.
Nice, clean movie theater with dining . It's different since there are no concessions but I actually liked that. The specialty popcorn was really good, and the burger was good as well but I was expecting bigger and better for the price. Service was fine, but our theater didn't have very many people so we got everything really quickly. The servers were friendly though. Overall a really nice experience and I definitely plan to go to this theater again.
My father is 84 and one of his Christmas wishes was to see the new Avatar movie. Unfortunately, we were not able to book online, but we went to the theater about 30 minutes before the show to try and get seats. My father has had knee replacement surgery, so we were hoping to get seats in a row that had a little more room. The team at Alamo was incredibly helpful, and even though the theater was pretty full on Christmas day they found a way to seat us together with the space my Dad needed. The recliner seat also helped him to feel comfortable throughout the movie. It wound up being a great way to spend Christmas afternoon together, and I want to thank the team at Alamo for helping to make that happen.
The theater has good seats and a really easy going atmosphere. I wouldn't come back though just because of how they do the in movie orders; the workers did great in being subtle with running around. The whole system they use in dumb and distracting, you put a slip of paper on your table if you want to order anything instead of a button so the staff has to run around and look for any paper hanging up.
I love this place! The vintage aesthetic makes it look cool. And even the classic movies trailers are fun to look at. My only problem is the dining experience. Tbh the food is alright, even for the price but service is hella slow. Forget any unlimited offers like popcorn or drinks, your movie is going to be over by the time you get the refill
In standard Millennial fashion, I usually get the Avocado Toast. A lot of theatres have bottomless Popcorn and Soda, but at Alamo Drafthouse, they get brought to your seat so you don't miss a second of the film. Plus they have great deals on older films that you may have missed at their original cinema release. It's a great movie theatre with a great vibe.
I was very disappointed in my order of Avocado Toast yesterday evening as it didn't seem to have much, if any avocado. The bun and other toppings were fresh but I could not taste or see any avocado . However, the Buffalo cauliflower bites are always on point and have a nice spice to them. I would recommend that servers regularly check for new orders, even 3/4 of the way through the show as there was a large gap of time no one came though our theatre. Also, please bring back the Paris, Texas cocktail !
