We went to a special showing of the classic Coraline. The audio effects made it so much better than watching it at home. Tried the fish and chips crispy and bottomless popcorn. All great food and service.
First time at Alamo Draft House. Really enjoyed it. The seats are terrific ... very comfortable. Good screen and sound as on would expect. Quick service. I would have given 5 stars but I found the fish and chips rather disappointing. The fried fish came in rather small portions and the fries were unremarkable. It was good ... just not very good. Will definitely return.
My family really enjoyed Minions: The Rise of Gru Family Party. We can’t wait for our next family movie party to go too. Definitely a must at least once if you have attended one.
Love the place. Blockbusters but also unknown movies. Seats are comfy. The loaded fried are awesome! Don’t miss to visit the bar. The mon cheri was awesome!
I recently took my children to see Minions: The Rise of Gru. I was very pleased that the theater was small. The seats were comfortable, and the level of noise during the movie with children was acceptable. I felt that the service was very good, as the wait attendant was very polite, thoughtful, and delivered everything in a timely manner. However, and this is a big however resulting in only three stars instead of five--the temperature was beyond cold!!! I had anticipated the theater would be cool and brought jean jackets and blankets. However, even WITH the jackets and blankets, my children and I were freezing. It was so miserably cold we were unable to fully enjoy the movie. We chose this theater instead of Georgetown, which would have been much cheaper, for its policy on quiet during the movie. Unless the temp is adjusted to provide a pleasant experience, we will not be returning.
Seats were comfortable. No weird smells or strange sticky spots. Everything about the movie presentation was good. Would have liked a bit more house lighting in the preview so we could order food. Food was good even if I couldn't really read the menu. Staff was courteous
It had been a long time since I had seen a movie here. We used to live closer and would frequently see movies here. A few years ago we moved and it's very close to a different theater owned by a different company, so that's where we almost always go these days. I came here this past week to meet someone- It was a good halfway meeting point for us and also fit the showtimes that we could both do. Like the old days, it was a good movie-watching experience. The videos playing before the movie were funny. The waiter was friendly and helpful. The burger I had was really good. I'll have to make a point to return soon!
Enjoyed the experience. Food is a bit pricey, but pretty tasty. The Vegan Buffalo Cauliflower was delicious! The Royal with cheese and fries-Yum! The associates taking food orders were efficient and pleasant. The only downside, was the cocktails, they definitely need work.
I always enjoy coming out and I much prefer Alamo Drafthouse to any other movie theater. I like the table style of this location in particular. Some food prices are a little high but are generally worth it. All the sandwiches are excellent and fairly easy to eat while watching the movie. Consider upgrading to the loaded fries. The boozy shakes are another hidden gem.
Very fun place to watch a movie. The staff is always engaging. The menu provides good options. My only nit picking complaint is that I would like my pizza a bit crisper. The coconut and invaluable sword props for Monty Python's Holy Grail were very appropriate.
