Alamo Rent A Car

I recently rented a car from Alamo at Rapid City Airport, and I was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. First of all, the rental car facility is conveniently located within the airport, making it incredibly easy to find. Due to a flight delay, I had concerns about the office closing, but the customer care representative assured me that since my car booking was linked to an incoming flight, they would wait for my arrival. They typically operate until 01:30 am local time, which is a great convenience for travelers. The process of picking up the car was exceptionally smooth, and to top it off, I received a complimentary upgrade. It was a pleasant surprise that made my journey even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Alamo at Rapid City Airport for anyone in need of a hassle-free and customer-oriented car rental service.

May a reservation back in January 2023 to rent three cars in June. We made changes to our flight to where we were going to be coming in a day earlier. I called the company and changed my reservations to Saturday. They said everything is rescheduled and booked for Saturday instead of Sunday. I called today which is two days before my flight and ask them to confirm that all changes have been made. they said there are no cars available for Saturday and my reservation wasn’t till Sunday. I told them if they would’ve told me that when I called to change the reservations, I would have canceled and gone with someone else. Now I have to pay twice as much because I have to go with a different car rental two days before my flight. Their reply is sorry there is nothing I can do. Have a great day and hang out. I will never use this company again and I will be putting reviews everywhere about them. Worst car rental place ever.

The agent who helped us when we arrived, Timothee Ward, was able to find our reservation and supply a car even though our reservation had issues and very few cars were available.

Great customer service. Dominick ensured our vehicle met our needs and had us on our way in no time. Upon returning the vehicle he checked again to make sure we were satisfied with our rental. A++++ to Alamo and Dominick.

Great customer service. No nonsense, quick, vehicles in great condition. We Picked up the vehicle on Rapid City and 2 weeks later dropped it off in Phoenix. They offered the cheapest rates for that type of trip between states and the drop off took seconds.

Rented the car via Sunny Cars. Already payed and was all-in. When we brought the car back to Alamo Rapid City, we had some issues with a double payment, but after 3 weeks they now payed us back. So my review goes from 1 to a 3-star-review because they solved the problem.

Very poor service from the beginning. I had to wait over an hour for my vehicle to be ready after having it reserved for a specific time. The lady at the front was rude to other customers while I waited in line. She said she would document damage done to the vehicle during my inspection and she didn't. Finally, I called six plus times about sunglasses left in the vehicle upon return and still no call back. Overall, stay away from Alamo at RAP. Poor customer service, poor vehicle quality, overall bad experience.

No problems, the front desk woman was very helpful and accommodating. She was able to manage my booking so that I didn't pay extra after arriving to the airport a couple hours early.

Our experience with Alamo was very positive. We rented a one way vehicle from a remote area in the Mid-West to a popular city 500 miles away. As a result the pricing was a little high but I was able to negotiate the price before the trip began to a slightly better rate. Alamo aims to please!

Checking and checkout was fast and good! The agents were great especially Patrick Rapid City...very helpful!!! My only complaint was that the car was dirty but the agents said they would talk to their people who cleans the cars.
