Alamo Rent A Car

Awesome customer service and best car rental company at Jacksonville International Airport! We rented a car this past weekend. When we returned the car, I explained that the car had a rubbing sound in the front end. I was not expecting any type of discount I just told the agent this so they could get it looked at. She actually deducted some cost off my rental. Very stand up agent and company! Will definitely rent here in the future!!

I rented a car at Jacksonville airport with Alamo in late August for a few days. PROs: The price was competitive and the attendant in the garage allowed me to “take any SUV in the row.” We picked a Jeep Compass. It was clean and ran well. CONS: No attendants at the Alamo desk. The sign directed me to “check in with our associates” at the next desk Enterprise. So I had to ask where the garage was to pick up the car. Overall, a good experience.

Mirna at the help desk was very nice! Once we were set the staff in the back helped us pick a model good for us. Everyone was so friendly! Would recommend!

Not completely satisfied. When we showed up to pick up our vehicle a little early, 545, when our appointment was at 6 we expected to wait. When the manager showed up at 550 she informed us very rudely that we would have to wait until 8. When i ponted out that our reservation was for 6 she gave us all kinds of rude looks. Finally at 610 she let us get our vehicle. Which all we had to do is pick out and go. We did everything online. The vehicle smelled like smoke and wasn't real clean but considering our interaction to that point wasn't favorable, we took it and left. Pretty disappointed. K

Booked a car with Avis. Got to the rental area and the line for Avis was long. I was told it would be a two hour wait. I canceled Avis online and booked a car with Alamo online as I walked to the rental garage. Within 5 minutes of booking the car, I was driving out of the airport. Excellent service and no hidden fees.

Great customer service from beginning to end. They are reasonably priced, the car was clean and fresh and I have rented before from another company and it wasn't. I will return to Alamo if I need to rent a vehicle in the future.

Gerrett, one of the managers at this location made it one of the best rental car service experiences I’ve had. He helped me with a complicated rental itinerary, helped with receipts I needed that took time to split up correctly for this long term rental and gave me great recommendations on the right car. I’ll definitely choose Alamo again and hope he will be there next year for another long term car rental.

If higher stars would be available - I would score them. This was our fourth annual rental during December. Check-out was quick and easy. This time I thought that I had l lost my X5 fobs and Alamo hotline gave me options. Once back at JAX, their customer service took care of us - and found the fobs! Excellent service!

At Jacksonville Airport they were very polite and helpful. AlsoI encountered an issue with the vehicle and I was near Orlando Airport I returned the car due to some issues and was treated great and moments like this is what makes me continue returning to Alamo.

I used the “Skip the counter” option and everything went smooth. I was given a free upgrade by the Alamo attendant in the garage area. Also,, the car didn’t smell like cigarette smoke, a huge plus.
