This place goes above and beyond in customer service. They are accommodating and friendly. I end up going a few hours at a time. Lounge on 2nd floor. Great for party's, lights and music included. belly dancers Saturdays 10pm w/ $5 or $10 cover. Phenomenal Mediterranean food. $15 hookah for your birthday. No hard liquor solid but there's wine, beer and shooters.
Very friendly and cozy environment. The buffet did not have that much variety but was fresh and like homemade. Also, the staff was very friendly, patient and caring. Tea and Turkish coffee was excellent, too . Vegetarian options: Vegetable stowe Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
This spot is a vibe for sure!! Chill atmosphere, great customer service, the food is soooo good!! The chicken ceaser salad was poppin!!! The lamb and rice yummy and with great portions served. The mint hot tea was perfectly paired with our hookah. The belly dancer added a nice touch to this intimate space. The hookah was sweet, smooth and price friendly. Definitely would pull up again. Ooh this is a BYOB! But get there early cause it gets crowded super fast! Ooh the reason for 4 stars is there is no bathroom upstairs. So tipsy or sober is dangerous and exhausting lol
My favorite Middle Eastern restaurant in Philadelphia! The best falafel I’ve had in Philly, and hands down the best Knafeh I’ve had in all of America. They ship it straight from Habiba Jordan, and you can taste the same flavor. The shawarma was amazing. The mint lemonade, tea and hookah made me feel transported to Amman. The atmosphere and vibes were immaculate, you’ll feel right in the Middle East. The owner and staff were incredible friendly and made me right at home. I can’t recommend them enough!
I've only been here once. And I'm open to trying it again. Hopefully next time it's better and I'll update my review... but in MY experience I give this a hard 3 stars. 1st thing is they want to make sure you buy a hooka 1st . I didn't want to smoke hooka I just wanted to eat and watch the belly dancing. .I called a guy over the one that was on the news recently promoting the place it was so loud but I pointed to what I wanted to eat on the menu . He said hold on, walked away and came back asking my friends what kinda hooka they wanted for a 2nd time after we told him we didn't want hooka . So fine we picked a hooka and he rushed over to get it. I attempted a 2nd time to order food and he said hold on again and walked away. . At this point I'm tired of asking to order FOOD. Another thing is noone ever came over to ask are you guys okay do u need anything do u want to order any food. That's why I'm giving this place 3 stars There was only 1 belly dancer who came on out twice in our 2hrs of being there and danced for about only 5mins . Hopefully next time I get proper service. If I decide to try this place again I think they have another location not sure.
Came here for dinner on a Friday evening. The food was beautiful and fresh. The flavors and textures were well balanced. I especially liked the spicy potatoes and the baklava. The baklava was crispier and less sweet than you usually find. The hookah bar upstairs is also really nice and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.Food: 5/5
The customer service is excellent. The food and the hookah are very good. the prices are reasonable. we definitely coming back especially for the belly dancer night on Saturdays. Vegetarian options: Falafel
This place was definitely a Google search and drive but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I’ll definitely be returning with my girlfriends to take advantage of the drink specials and the food ! The hookah was very good although we could have gotten a little quicker service. Reasonably priced especially since there’s a more popular hookah lounge not even 5 minutes from here for double the price. I will recommend the hookah with the ice hose !
I can’t say enough good things about Alamodak! My group of 4 went on Saturday, we were seated right away, served quickly, and the food was incredible. We had a bunch of appetizers and wanted to order more but were too full! Everything was fresh and tasty!Food: 5/5
The food was very good coming from an Arab. Lots of Philly restaurants with Arab food is quite mid, not this place though! It stays to its Jordanian roots and also have an other options such as Mandi Yemeni and delicious. The Hookah/Shisha area upstairs is also a great vibe to get work done, party during weekends on their occasional Arabian nights which includes a belly dancer, DJ, tabla drum player, and even encourages the customers to dance as a group for Dabke or other styles. The staff is genuinely sweet and befriended some over there with an owner who is one of the most humble and kindest I’ve met. It was delightful to have spent my time there and now I’m a regular at a weekly basis minimum! Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp available to get into restaurant.
