I came on Saturday around 6:40. I did not know they close at 7 I rarely get car washes so it was a last minute thing. One of the employees politely asked me if I planned on using the vacuums after the wash, and I said yes, and he told me just a heads up they turn off at 7:15. Which was plenty of time for me as I just did a quick vacuum through the car. As time was approaching close to 7, a fella I assume manager or owner approached me when he saw me struggling with my dirty car mat and showed me how to use the mat whacker! Again, new to this car wash thing so that was appreciated because I never even knew that that was a thing. As I went to do the other side of the car, it was a few mins past 7 and they had already put the mat whacker and stuff up for closing. He saw that I had another mat that I was vacuuming, came out, took it inside, and cleaned it for me, after they had already closed! I thought that was such an amazing gesture and amazing customer service. The whole crew overall was very kind and did a great job! I got the best car wash they had to offer, and it comes with a towel dry which was great. Definitely going to get car washes more often now!
Best car wash around! The service is great. The employees are kind, and all have been working there for a long time. The prices are a bit steep, wish they had more incentives for multiple vehicle plans but the hand pre-wash and towel dry is amazing!
Best car wash in town! They offer a towel dry and are always friendly. This is the only wash my wife and I use. Highly recommend them.
Best bang for your buck! $16 for the highest level wash, 3-4 crew members always in the chute pre washing and scrubbing your vehicle. Not like the "big box" car washes where the crew member comes out with an AirPod in and sprays half a wheel and then back inside while you pay double and get ripped off. I love this place. I drive from Somerset, attentive friendly staff, My van sparkles down to the tires...no car wash gets tires clean like Alan's. CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE.
Very happy to find this gem of a carwash after running away from another chain of washes in Lex! They were so nice and kind. Car was spotless and towel dried. Free Vaccums with wash. And NO DAMAGE to my vehicle!!!! So very happy. They even drove my SUV through the wash for me after my PTSD from someplace else kicked in!! LOL Cannot recommend enough!Services: Auto detailing
Friendly staff, easy process. My car had a ton of bugs on the front and they took care of it! Best part...free vacuum with purchase of car wash. And no time limit. Definitely going back here.
History: Service and pre-wash is second to none in the city. But organization, billing and customer support is a train wreck and still is. I was the first subscription and loyal fan of Alan’s. Huge promoter and evangelist. There was a billing issue back in May. I ‘fixed’ it by talking with a young fellow there who updated my card on file and charged the previous months bill - he told me manager would give me a call tomorrow per my request after I was notified of a price hike in the subscription. That call never came. Next time I was in there, I presented some confusion I had with the charges on my card, and again, the teenage staff member said I’d need to talk with his boss, instead - I just told him to cancel my subscription. He said he did - this was my last visit back in May. I went and got a subscription to a Clean Sweep closer to my home. But come to find out my business partner informed me there have been new price hiked charges on our card every month like clockwork. Needless to say, I’ll be disputing the charges and I’ll update my review after we see how they respond. Update: They did refund the charges after a slightly awkward call with the owner. He did seem to throw employees ‘that didn’t know how to do something on the computer’ under the bus and left me a bit uneasy by concluding our call and never calling back to actually inform me of what they were able to do. A couple days later I found out from my partner that they refunded all the charges. Still, at this point, perhaps the only reasons I wouldn’t give Alan’s a try again is price and convenience. I might not get as quality a pre-wash treatment at Clean Sweep, but the results are the same for nearly 30 bucks per month cheaper. Still, I think if you’re in the Brannon Crossing area and you need a wash, ignore all other car washes and go to Alan’s.
Alan and his crew did an amazing job bringing my 2001 boat back to life and make it sparkle again. They are so professional and do such an exceptional job on everything they do.
Never had any issues with this car wash, and they’ve always done a good job on my cars. I came this time at 6:28 after work, and they had already put the cones out in front. Google stated that they close at 7, so i called to double check, and all i got was a “sorry”. This is unacceptable in any business, and the hours stated need to reflect actual work hours.
