I wish I could give them no star. This restaurant keep disappointing me. This my second time ordering from this Albertes. One I have never paid this much for a fish fillet to be delivered burnt and hard. The fish seemed as it was a fish sitting there for days and refried. And second, I never ordered a Haitian Mac n cheese from a Haitian restaurant that look like a pasta that was just thrown together out the pot. You all need to do better.
Second time at this Haitian Restaurant. The place was clean. The bathroom was very clean. Even had hot water to wash my hands. The young man who took my order was friendly. The young lady who gave me my food at the pick up station was very friendly as well. She also opened every food container to show me my order to make sure that the order was as I ordered, and it was. Very friendly staff. The food was delicious. It's very usual for Island food to be a bit high in Salt, but the food here was on point. Not too strong on the seasoning, but it was full of flavor. Prices are OK. My mom is not easy to please as she is a great cook herself and she gave it thumbs up . Highly recommended. Thank you very much for checking in. Have a blessed day.
If i could give 0 stars i would. My dad came here and ordered 24 patties all we got was dough. There’s barely any filing and if you are out you should be able to tell customers. What a complete waste of money. This place should be ashamed.
The food here is consistent, and the portions are good. The food is filled with flavor, and I've been ordering here for at least 11 years on and off. They do stay busy, so I recommend calling in advance for pick-up with some time to spare. I will say that if you normally don't order here, then there are different areas for orders. There's one for pick-up and another for dine-in.
I lived in Haiti for 4 years and my husband did for 1 year. It's been a year since we left and, along with many other things, we've been missing Haitian food a ton! We ordered our favorite Haitian dish with our favorite sides - griot fried pork, patè de poul patty filled with chicken, banann pèzè fried plantain, and diri ak pwa wouj rice and red beans. It did not disappoint! Tasted JUST like the food our friends in Haiti made. If you want authentic Haitian food, go here. We're going home full and happy. Mèsi anpil, Alberte's!
my complaint isn’t about the food but they didn’t give me any rice and beans and uber doesn’t care. i told them give me half of my food or half of my money. it was like talking to the wall
I bought a steamed whole snapper. It was in so much oil the sauce was so thick, it looked like porridge. The taste was good but the sauce was to thick. The vegetable rice was very good and the fried plantains were crispy.Food: 2/5
This is my go-to spot for Haitian food. food is great and fresh! Their timing on food have emensley improved. Way to go!Food: 5/5
02/03/21 Okay, were done. So unprofessional and whenever yoh order just add another 20 -30 minutes to your order. Visit 9/8/19 the only thing that has change is the interior/furniture/decor, same bad customer service inside. They don't know what they are doing and don't care to improve. The girls in the front all need to be replaced, you guys are loosing business. Two different girls took my order and both forgot to include a full meal, they need to stop speaking amongst themselves. The tall guy working at the food window was able to take care of us, Thank you. What is the point of calling in your order waiting an additional 15 pass when they told you your food to be ready and getting their and they dont have nothing ready. Having to place your order again; like you didnt speak to anyone at this restaurant. You guys are loosing business i ordered 4 plates of complete meal. Make your customers service and phone etiquette better. I ordered at 8:33pm, arrived at 9:15pm, didnt get food until 9:45pm. Once you get your food its amazing but you guys need to improve the phones and friendliness of the front staff. People who want to try Haitian food and aren't use to you will not return.
The food and staff are amazing! I absolutely love coming here! The variety of food is so vast and i have enjoyed each dish I have tried. My favorite is the griot with a side of scotch bonnet and also the fried red snapper with rice and plantains!! And also their new patacon or tostones
