Beef! It's Albertson's specialty. Albertson's really knows how to take care of it's clientele and they have lowered prices store-wide during the recession. I've enjoyed shopping at Alberton's since 1984. Thank you for hiring awesome team members in Butcher/Seafood area, Deli Meat Slicers, Produce, Bakery, Floral dept. and Cashiers. It's so WONDERFUL to buy a huge cart full of groceries, get all the special deal prices via the handy Alberton's app easily, and have a smart HUMAN CASHIER ring it all up for me vs. Walmart forces me to self checkout despite the fact that they are a massive multi-billion-dollar corporation! LoL! Albertsons has terrific sale prices on HQ steaks like ribeyes, T-bones, and NY Strip steaks $4.99/pound for Labor Day vs. Walmart $17.95/pound. The produce is fresh and lasts quite a while in the fridge too. Albertsons meats, seafood and deli meats are fine quality too. You just can't beat Blue Bell Ice Cream 1/2 gallon size for $4.95 on sale and their in-house Sourdough bread never disappoints. I got some great advice on how to slow cook a beef brisket sale $3.99/# using indirect heat with a low flame on a covered propane grill for 2-3 hours. It turned out GREAT on my first try. 8v The HQ Deitz & Watson deli meats and cheeses are SUPER TERRIFIC and a great value. ***THANK YOU TO ALL THE ALBERTSON'S TEAM MEMBERS WHO EXCEL IN CUSTOMER SERVICE, FRIENDLINESS/SMILES & OPERATIONS EVERY SINGLE DAY. *** Please continue to set the standard for kindness, fulfillment, and service in the industry. Albertson's offers free flu shots and their Pharmacists are extremely helpful. Most of the bad reviews here must be fake. FIVE BIG STARS!!! FYI: Albertsons was one of the very few local grocers open during the 5-day long power outage of February 2021 when all of DFW was Frozen Solid and without power for the week. That was amazing dedication by your team members and we're not going to forget it. 8v
I ordered a birthday cake for my son. Nothing really special, 1/4 sheet chocolate with Minecraft decorations and "Happy Birthday Jayson" written on it. My mistake was not asking how much it would be. I was expecting it to be between 25 and 30 dollars based on past purchases. DOES THIS LOOK LIKE A $36 DOLLAR CAKE??
I’m a regular here, I choose Albertsons over Kroger. Typically the customer service good. But today I didn’t experience very good customer service. I changed my mind on a couple of items at check out and decided to take them off my bill. After she voided the items off, she then pushed the rest of my un-bagged food further down the counter to finish the remainder.
There is no one in the bakery section to help with the pick up of custom ordered birthday cake and no one in the customer management section. People at check out counter are not willing to help. Tryly Unprofessional, other sections of the store may be good but never place your cake orders here. I am not coming back !!!
Updated review: It used to be decent. Staff are still awesome. However it's gone downhill. Sale items aren't in stock as they should be. Whomever is in charge of ordering grocery stock can't seem to time it right to make sale items aren't out of stock. Night crew doesn't seem to want to do their job and the very young managers maybe still teenagers barely young adult? up front they do have don't seem to take their job seriously.
My husband and I went to this location back a few months ago and we received old catfish from the butcher. We said then that we wouldn't go back and that we'd go to the Glade location. On his way home from work he stopped by this location this evening. Thinking that they may have changed things for the better and we were wrong. Not only did we get smelly spoiled smelling hamburger patties but end up getting molded hotdogs buns. We just threw everything away and went somewhere else. My husband really planned a night to spend with us after a long week and you aholes can't even have decent food.
The management here doesn't seem to know how to run a store The store director seems confused on what he needs to do and how to take care of this crew and their grocery managers seem to not know how to keep the shelves stocked all the time. Wish this store would close or just find new management
I would like to say today was one of my best experiences in a grocery store. Major kudos to Alex Ferguson according to his name badge. I was amazed to witness your genuine kindness towards a senior customer that was checking out before me. Your kindness and patience did not go unnoticed! Every moment in this store I felt like the service and friendly nature of the staff made me feel welcome. I am from Arkansas originally and we don’t have Albertsons I will be returning to shop soon. Thank you for showing kindness and compassion to your customers!
Very clean... Customer service was great... Seems are there after everyone that works. There is very nice and spoke when passing by..
Found what I wanted quickly but only one check out. The line was very long. Brought an additional checker still slow. It was unusual to see a store without self check
