The Albion Food Hub is a combination of a rental commercial kitchen and a farm product aggregation service.
The mission of the Albion Food Hub is threefold: removing barriers to food-related business entry), building economic capacity in our city, and improve food security and access throughout Albion and the surrounding area. Our economic development aims are met by lowering the costs to create and sustain food-based businesses and encouraging entrepreneurship via our kitchen incubator. We also encourage local food system participation by offering Albion area growers and producers a way to access commercial markets for their products. Food security is improved by the Food Hub’s participation and coordination with local food charities, educators, and agencies aimed at reducing hunger and food need.
